Great stuff
I love this stuff. It's double-sided cloth tape that is tacky but not overly sticky. It sticks to itself well though, so works well for applications where you can wrap it all the way around. It can leave residue occasionally, but not too bad. I've never noticed any getting on my hands.I've been playing with quadcopters lately and it seems like I come up with a new use for friction tape every day. E.g., wrap a strip around your FatShark goggles battery to keep them from constantly slipping out of the strap. Or wrap a strip around your FatShark camera before tie-wrapping it to the frame so it won't pop out of the tie-wrap when you hit a tree.I picked up a roll of Ace Hardware brand friction tape today and it appears to be identical to the Duck brand at about half the price. Plus you can buy it at your local Ace Hardware Store. (In the electrical department, not the paint department where all the other tapes are.)3M 3407NA friction tape is also great, but different. It's just a nice one-sided cloth tape. It's stickier than the Duck stuff on its sticky side, but not sticky at all on the other. But being cloth it's nice and flexible and has a good surface texture. And it sticks to things without having to wrap it around. So I use it almost as often as the Duck friction tape. It's way nicer than plastic electrical tape.

Great for a pull-up bar / chin-up bar....
My power rack or cage is a Titan X2 and I upgraded it to the monkey bars or multi-grip chin/pull-up attachment. It is great in all aspects, but I like a little more grip on the bar when I do them. I had tried and used a silicone based tape that was thick and worked great, but was just too expensive at over $15 a roll. Decided to try this and i am glad I did. It's super easy to cut with your hands - no scissors needed. Instead of using really long strips, I used a lot of smaller ones since the space is tight. The grip is fantastic too - much more grippy than the silicone tape I used before. I will be getting another roll or two of this stuff for sure. Only complaint I have is there is a really strong odor to it. My garage smelled like it for a couple of days. Also, I remember my Dad use this for our baseball bats in little league. The first time I touched it, I remembered right away. Good stuff!

Absolutely the best
Both sides very sticky. Almost acts like liquid rubber with the ability to mold. This the best I have ever seen and used. Be aware that it sticks to your hands so good that when using it in remotes or your mouse it may not release when you relieve the pressure, for the first few times..

It "Works"
My use for this tape was a bit unconventional. Though having used it regardless of the application, I feel I can express the important negatives before you buy.Depending on how much pressure you apply, it sticks to itself rather nicely. Though, it doesn't stick to other surfaces much at all. If exposed to heat, I'm sure it will become a mess and unstick to that surface while getting sticky on you if messed with. Also, I wouldn't use it as grip tape. Because the coating is on both sides, it will rub off on your hands or whatever surface it touches. My specific application, I wrapped 2 small long rectangle neodymium magnets with it and used double sticky back tape to attach them to my work phone, so it could be put on anything metal. Every surface I put it on, black rubs off if it slides on it and when handling the phone, I get black on my hands.I could see it working really well in the correct application.

Tacky, just what I needed.
Needed something for my guns and workout equipment. Wrapped some tape around the grips of my guns. Works flawless. Also wrapped some around the handles of my pull up bar. Again, flawless. Super tacky, gives excellent grip. Just be sure to wrap it over itself a few times so it holds and get out any air bubbles.TLDR:+Inexpensive and great value+60 feet+Super tacky-May need to wrap it over itself a few times in order for it to stay-Not a pleasant odor (smells like some type of synthetic rubber)

rubberized cloth
I used this to stop a rifle scope from sliding within the mounting rings. It worked perfectly.

Works well, easy to install or remove.

This is the real stuff
This is what I used to wrap my hockey sticks with when I was kid 55 years ago. Don't buy anything else if you want real friction tape, because it cannot and will not compare to this brand.
