Game Changer!
These covers are wonderful. I've been wearing cycle gloves to avoid blisters on my hands but it's a faff! Especially if going to prepare food where i need to remove the gloves. A nurse at the fracture clinic told me about these so I looked them up. So glad I did. They are so comfy and well made. The additional covers stop me bashing the back of my upper arm just above my elbow.Thank you 😊

Cuffs are great, handle pads quite good
These arrived much faster than expected and I really love how they look. Psychologically it makes using your crutches feel a bit more personal and bit more fun.The cuffs for the upper arms have been brilliant as I bruise quite easily and had already fairly extensive bruising on my arms from fairly limited use. This has now completely stopped.I want to be as positive about the handles which are good and have helped reduce some discomfort but im completelly non weight bearing on one leg just now and, despite tightening them as per the instructions, i find they slip/spin ever so slightly when i use them which can be a little unnerving. It's not awful as I'm usually pretty able-bodied when I haven't broken my foot, but might be more of a concern for someone with slower refelxes/ poorer balance?I think a better padding inside, maybe memory foam, could make them more comfortable too, would also probably make them more expensive. The other point I'd make is around hygiene which didn't occur to me until I'd bought them, but when your on crutches you need to use them to reach a sink to wash your hand after eating for example, or using the loo, so in hindsight I'm thinking maybe wipe clean handle pads would be better. I'm going to wash mine.amd hope for the best :)So 5* looks and fun factor all-round5* for the cuffs which have been perfect for me3* for the handles due to slight stability issues and hygiene factor.

Comfy
Got these for my daughter as she was getting blisters on her hands and bruises on her arms from her crutches. She loves them. The crutches are much more comfy to use now and the added bonus is they look super cute.

No hate at all!
The media could not be loaded. I got these covers as a birthday present preparing for an operation 6 days later, opened them and firstly I received the wrong colour/design.i didn’t send them back then because I don’t mind the darker pink. I’ve tried so many times to tie the hand grips on tight enough but no matter what they just move! Also the arm covers don’t line up, I’ve also tried every way possible for them, I am still using them because I have nothing else to use and the material is so comfy, maybe I just need a little help on how to correctly tie the hand grip so it doesn’t stop moving and I don’t like how I can see the white elastic around it, that would be lovely.Other than that they have stop my hands hurting and look pretty from the front tho!🫶🏼

Not great if you're looking for padded handles
After using crutches for a few days I knew I wanted wider, ideally padded, handles to better spread the weight and give a more comfortable grip. I went for these based on the reviews and images as they seemed the most substantial. The package arrived much more quickly than advertised but I generally find this a bit annoying - I almost didn't buy them because of the wait time. Also, as I was expecting up to a weeks' wait, I took matters into my own hands and improvised handles out of pipe lagging and duct tape. Now these have arrived, I'll be returning them straight away and going back to my pipe lagging as it's about 1000% more effective! If, like me, you can't understand why someone wouldn't want a wider grip, go with lagging - a small ankle or child's sock can cover it up just as well. The hand grips fit OK, but seem very thin to me. The padding inside is less than 1cm thick. The closest material to it I can think of is that dry old sponge you get in antique stuffed toys, wrapped in something breathable. While it's better than nothing, it compresses too easily and I can feel the crutch handle underneath, still aggravating my bruises. From the description, I was expecting that the covers for the handles could be removed for washing. This is not the case and I wouldn't risk putting the whole thing in the washing machine as I'd worry the foam would disintegrate. The elastic tie in one handle came out instantly as there is nothing to keep it in.I think if you have very large hands they might not be long enough as they are a little shorter than the handle. I haven't used the arm protectors but they are a good fit, though you can't put them together without a little overhang of Velcro and hem which I imagine could rub/catch your clothes if you didn't put them on very well. As the small print says: a fashion accessory only. Very disappointing.
