Frozen - Big-Note Piano Songbook: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack - Kindle edition by Hal Leonard Corp.. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading Frozen - Big-Note Piano Songbook: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack. Review: Easy and Fun - As someone who played the piano as a child, but haven't played much in years, this book is great. It's fairly easy to pick up most of the songs here and my kids like to listen. The one caveat is that they are in a different key, so they do sound a bit different than the originals. I originally bought the other Frozen piano book that looks like this one and it was too difficult for me. However, I have been able to reference the songs in those books (in the original key) to add notes or fill out the sound in the easier versions. Review: Wonderful book for a beginner - My daughter loves this book. So far she's learned "Let It Go" and "Love is an Open Door." Allowing her to learn songs that she loves keeps her motivated. She doesn't mind that the music sounds a bit different from the actual movie because the songs sound close enough, and she understands that there can be different variations of the same songs. I read other reviewers say that someone with about 3 years of experience can play the music comfortably, but my daughter is only *almost* 5 years old with 11 months of lessons, so I'm not really sure what level Big Note books are intended for. Perhaps she just has a knack for piano, but I think this book works well for a beginner.

Big Note, Yes!
I am a piano and voice teacher and the pianists and singers alike LOVE this book. In January, the kids were proactive, finding arrangements of these songs online, and I was so happy to find this book. While this music is difficult for beginners because of the changing hand positions these songs require, the arrangements in this book are as beginner friendly as it gets. Great job, Lopez duo!

All the songs in the movie in one book!
This book can be played by pianists who have had 3 or more years of lessons. Because it is written with big notes, some of the notes in a chord have been taken out. The songs sound a little "thin" because of that. However, the young students really enjoy playing the songs because they know them so very well. This is a great collection of all of the songs from the movie.

Kindle edition is very hard to read
This is for the kindle edition. I guess they still haven't figured out how to put music on a tablet yet, because this book is unreadable using Kindle. On the nice big screen of my iPad, I get a very small image of the music centered with 1-2 inches of margin all around it. Now my eyes are better than 20/20, and unless I hold the thing about a foot from my face, there's no way I'd be able to read it while playing.

Frozen: Big Note Vs Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack
I bought two of Frozen music books what look very much alike: this one and Frozen: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack (Piano/Vocal/Guitar) (Piano, Vocal, Guitar Songbook)[ASIN:1480368199]. Big Note book has large staff, easy to read notes and words, they really simplified it that child with 3 years of experience could play it. Why did I give it 3 stars versus 5? In order to make it simple they changed tonality in each and every song that it is two keys higher then original songs (you can find original songs in Frozen: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack). For example, the famous original Let It Go is written in F minor and has 4 flats, but in Big Note it is in A minor with no flats and instead of F-G-flat A "Let it Go" goes A-B-C. Why is not it great? My 6 year old immediately said: it does not sound right. I tried for her all the songs in this book and every time she commented: no, it's just not right. Said apart from it, she could play it next year after hard training (so far she has only two full years of experience) and no way she would be able to deal with Frozen: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack, the last one is for teachers or older children with higher then medium experience. P.S. According to our music teacher, depending on age group Big Note requires 2.5-4 years of experience and Frozen: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack requires 4-5 years.

Perfect - My 7 year old, who has been playing for about a year, finds this inspiring to play and just challenging enough to keep learning from. Her piano teacher was very impressed by the arrangements.
