Best table and chair set available!
We LOVE our star table. The table comes with easy to read directions (in terms of putting the table together). There are TONS of nails/screws when you are putting the table and chairs together. I view this as a HUGE advantage. The chairs and table are extremely sturdy and I don't have to worry about them breaking when my son is sitting on them.My son loves to sit in his chair at the table and color, play with his trains, or read a book. He loves having a place to call his own. Sometimes he pulls the chair up in front of the storage bins -- thus they fall out, but it really isn't a major problem.Aesthetically, the table and chairs are extremely cute for any kids play room. The storage bins are bigger than I expected and we are able to store a lot of toys/crafts there.

Made a GREAT Lego Table!
We bought this table after looking around for specific "Lego" tables - where the top of the table is made of Lego base plates. Most of the ones we found were either too small or far too pricey. This table was VERY easy to assemble - well laid out directions, and I loved the way the hardware was packaged, on a piece of cardboard with plastic wrap over it, allowing you to take out from the back only what you needed for that step. It's VERY sturdy, as are the chairs. After we assembled the table, we sanded down the top a bit to make it "rougher", and then painted an epoxy on it. We carefully set(I think) 8 Lego base plates in the epoxy and let it sit for 24 hours. This table is sized so that 8 plates were the exact measurement for side to side, and then we had an extra inch or so across the top and bottom. The buckets on the side are PERFECT for holding Lego's, so the night before our son's birthday (this was his gift) we collected all his Lego's and sorted them by size into the buckets. The table was a huge hit with our son for his 6th Birthday and he's played with it quite a bit. He loves that he has a place he can leave his "creations" and not worry about them being "disrupted" or moved!I highly recommend this table either as just a table and chairs - or modified to be a Lego table!

When i reached Kidkraft customer service their support was amazing. I got replacement parts within 2days. Even wecno need to talk to anyone reg. warranty parts... all the process can be done through online itself. But we felt product can be more sturdy.

SUPER cute, HUGE pain to assemble, NOT sturdy
There's no denying that this set is absolutely adorable! But that is assuming that you actually manage to get it assembled. The chairs were easy enough, but the table was a nightmare. It took two of us to do it. That was FOUR hands - plus a jar lid gripper, a dish towel, an allen wrench, and adjustable grip pliers. This was because the holes in the wooden - or actually, to be technical "rubberwood" - dowels that connect the table sides and function to hold up the bins are far too small and/or too shallow and/or too crooked (not really sure which) to take the screws that go in to them. We considered drilling the holes bigger, but we were afraid we would crack the dowels. The result? One of us had to hold the dowel with one bare hand and use the pliers to hold it tightly with the other hand. Sitting on the opposite side of the soon-to-be-table, the other held the dowel using the jar gripper with one hand while using EVERY OUNCE OF STRENGTH to turn the allen wrench with the other hand. We quickly discovered that the pliers were leaving dents in the "rubberwood", so we put a dish towel between the rubberwood dowel and the plier grips. That helped a little, but not 100%. Luckily you can't really see the damage when the bins are in place. But, though we are no weaklings, the manual labor that went in to getting one screw in to one dowel was absurd. And we had to do this TWENTY TIMES. It took well over an hour just to get the dowels on. By the time we were done, both of us had cramping, blistered hands - and several dented dowels.Once assembled, I noticed a light scratch across the surface of the table top. This bothered me, but I suppose that since it's a kid's table, it doesn't really matter - it's going to get dinged up, drawn on, and spilled on very quickly. My biggest concern is that, though the adorable chairs proved sturdy enough to at least briefly hold the weight of one very curious full-grown man (though I do not recommend that!!!), the table seems very unsturdy. Granted, it's on barbour carpet, but still. Maybe if the legs spanned the width of the table instead of having the arc in the middle, that would make it sturdier - but that's not the case. So I'm concerned about tipping. What toddler doesn't like to climb? Especially on things of this height. It's just so inviting! Finally, I will note that the bins are a bit smaller than I expected. Also, given the (strange) outward-facing angle that they go in to the table, they don't acheive the clutter-hiding effect I was going for. Worse, any small items put in there can easily catch the attention of and end up in the mouth of a young baby, puppy, or other chew-happy critter. Unfortunately, because the bins are so small, I can only think of a very limited number of things that will fit in there that won't cause a choking hazard. My fault though. I should have thought of these two things pre-purchase.Bottom line: If you decide to buy this, be sure you have some help lined up. Four stars because pain is temporary and the set is adorable - but if the table ends up tipping, this will quickly drop to one.
