Fresh and excellent quality Meadowsweet Herb
I love this brewed hot as a tea with some raw honey or just iced. It has a delicious taste and has great health benefits. This Frontier Co-Op version was especially nice, fresh and well processed with very little dust and at a very reasonable price.

Great clean product at a great price
Frontier sells the best quality dried herbs that I have found. This is actually my second 1 lb bag of meadowsweet from them and the quality was just as good the 2nd time as the 1st. My Drs. seem unable to get my fibromyalgia under control with meds so I am determined to find my own way to do it. I make a tea of meadowsweet and white willow bark along with a few others and it really does help with the pain.. This meadowsweet is clean with little to no dirt, stems, etc. like you find from less reputable vendors. Their prices are great, shipping fast and product is fresh and clean. I haven't gotten a bad product from them yet and I order a lot!

Good tasting Tea
Meadowsweet tea was the herb that Aspirin was initially created from. It has salicylic properties and aides in pain relief. So take this in consideration when ingesting it and an Aspirin allergy is present or on blood thinners. It is pretty pleasant tasting with a light sweet taste.. When used too much it can taste a bit antiseptic. I used 2 tsp for 12 oz of water. I think this tea is great on its own or blended with chamomile and some lemon balm or even rose petals.

Seems ok
Not a tea expert but it tastes like regular tea with a hint of hay. If that’s what meadow sweet is supposed to be this is definitely it. Seems quality and a good bargain.

Great quality and potency.
I've heard quit a bit about meadowsweet and its incredible medicinal property, its pain relieving and antibacterial qualities when it comes to urinary tract infections. My main draw was the natural pain relief property plus I love hot tea at any time of the year. Only bad thing is the tea is loose leaf but it works great In a French press which is what I use. I absolutely recommend this product, especially during your menstrual cycle.

Highly Recommend Trying!
We have an 11 yr old female lab mix with hips issues. Our vet had prescribed remedyle (?) for pain, but we had already had a couple of labs die due to liver cancer. So then we tried another product, which was natural made from willow bark. Evidently, this is what aspirin is made of, which also effects the liver & had raised her liver enzymes. So the vet prescribed Tramadol, which is easy on the liver. In speaking with a friend, she had tried this meadowsweet herb tea for her elderly dog and highly recommended it. She had been on it for a couple of weeks - 1/3 cup in her food 2 times a day. I brew a quart jar, which several days. It had done wonders...........she is perky & energetic! We are house sitting for a friend with 34 steps & she is running up & down them like a pup! I truly believe this has made a tremendous difference in her overall health, as well as, her hip pain. I have even tried it & is a very tasty tea. This is something I would highly recommend trying..............It is definitely worth a try!

Meadowsweet Tea
Well, I was reading about meadowsweet and some of its capabilities hit a lot of my sweet spots. Meadowsweet is supposedly used for colds, bronchitis, upset stomach, heartburn, peptic ulcer disease, and joint disorders including gout. It is supposed to contain tannins, which might decrease inflammation (swelling) and decrease mucus (phlegm). It also has small amounts of salicylates, which are similar to aspirin. This bag contains a lot of meadowsweet so I can see it lasting a long time. I put a teaspoon of the dried herb in a tea strainer and drop it into a hot cup of water. It steeps for about 15-20 minutes and then it is ready. The taste is very pleasant - a lot like regular tea with just a slight hint of mintiness. It is not a strong tea, so if you like a miler tasting tea, you will like this. I do not add any sweetener to my tea - I drink is straight. So, this will be on our staple list of tea to keep around the house.

Meadowsweet herb.
