Wonderful aroma, delicious taste
This is the best coffee I have ever had on Amazon. I've bought several brands.. Deathwish, Horsekicker or whatever it's called, etc.... but this time around, I decided to try something from Peru, specifically Peru, because of the reputation it has with food. The food is grown in the Andes mountains, high up in elevation. Peru has several superfoods, such as quinoa. They're also famous for being the birthplace of potatoes, and for their incredible variety of potatoes, and purple corn. So I figured, maybe coffee grown in high elevation might be great too. So I bought this, Peruvian Cajamarca. As soon as the bag is opened and you get a whiff.... it smells like nothing I've ever bought on Amazon. Wonderful scent. And the taste! I use it on a french press, and the taste is delicious. I've drank many coffees from Amazon before, and not many of them have any real taste to it. But this??? This has a unique flavor, it's really noticeable to anyone who drinks it. The packaging is strong and well made, and has a little vent. I give this product 5 stars.

Fresh, aromatic, and smooth tasting.
A quality, smooth-tasting brew at a premium price. The aroma is fresh and strong, and tells you that this hasn’t been sitting around in a warehouse while going stale. I generally go for a darker roast, but I enjoyed this coffee, and I’ve been having a cup every morning brewed in my French press maker. As noted, this is a bit more expensive than most similar coffees, thanks to Fair Trade practices and pricing, and for many consumers, the small premium is worth it. While there has been debate about how much of the fair trade premium actually reaches workers, coffee drinkers who choose this blend can be assured that conditions for workers are hopefully better than average.

It's coffee. What is not to like?
I bought this a while ago and do not remember it specifically. However, I do not recall ever buying any coffee from Amazon that was bad. I prefer medium roast south American coffees and this fits the bill.

One of my favorite coffee choices
This is a Medium roast whole bean coffee. It has a great flavor and no acidic taste. I have to be careful of acidic coffee because I had throat surgery which is adversely affected by acidic beverages. It is described on the package as "sweet mild flavor*hint of jasmine". I agree with the mild flavor but can't say that I tasted the jasmine. Obviously requires a finer palate than mine. But all the same, it's a great tasting coffee!Definitely recommend🙂

Not my favorite
This was not my favorite coffee in this brand, I didn’t care for the flavor it was too bitter. I much preferred their Mexican Chiapas version.

Excellent coffee
I drank Peruvian coffee while visiting Peru a year ago. It has a unique and amazing taste but is hard to find in local stores. I found the Highland Village Reserve Peruvian Coffee on Amazon and purchased a bag. It has the great taste I expected and the purchase price is a value. Love it!!!

So, not having noticed
that this was bean coffee, I thought it would be great to try. I Was a little surprised when it arrived, but, there is a solution to most problems. I borrowed my sister's coffee grinder. I found that there is a learning curve to using a coffee grinder, so it took a few tries to get it right. Once I did we were able to enjoy rich, tasty coffee. It was quite good and I'm glad I tried grinding beans myself finally, to see if it's something I would be interested in doing in the future. nope.Really good coffee. I'm too lazy. After this, I will go back to pods or already ground coffee. But it's good, you might want to try it.

Peruvian Coffee Lost its Flavor
I enjoy good Peruvian coffee but my package had NO flavor -- Peruvian or otherwise. I suspect it was just too old. It comes down to the luck of the draw when ordering coffee online. We never know how long a particular pack of coffee has languished in some corner of a warehouse. You might have better luck. However, this was so disappointing and a complete waste of money that I will not give this one a second chance and for that matter probably will avoid ordering online except from places except where I know that do their own roasting and reliably ship their coffee fresh. The logistics are just too complex and unpredictable to control otherwise.
