Working well for me
These are fun. They're not all that comfortable to use, but that should be expected given it's an all-metal design. They are, however, perfectly fine for everyday use. The blades are respectably sharp. It cuts well. The blades are pretty long, too. The sheath is held on by a pressure bump inside that holds onto the screw thing in the middle of the blades. They're very solid and heavy. They're nicely decorated. The little "gems" are a nice color and none look too cheap-fake, if you know what I mean. It's just a fun little thing if you enjoy the look. Nice for costuming, and good as a pair of scissors.
I bought this because I bought a sword for my friend as a wedding gift and he asked if I could get his bride-to-be a bodice dagger as well. Well, I wasn't heading back to the Renn Faire again so I had to turn to the internet and bought these because straight-up daggers weren't an option from amazon or ebay. While they look good in the sheathe, these scissors are primarily that--scissors. You cannot use them as a knife as you might be led to believe by the title. They are, however, very sharp and functional scissors. Since I was expecting that you would be able to cut with the outer edge as well as the inner, I'm tempted to give this item 4 out of 5 stars, but since most people are probably just interested in them as a piece of costuming I don't think I should take off one star.

Great Costume "Dagger"
This is exactly what i expected it to be. I bought it for my costume for Renaissance Festivals and it looks great. It sticks slightly in it's sheath, but i didn't expect something perfect for the price. I do wish that it had a way to attach it better to your belt without having to put the sheath in something else to attach it. The scissors are very sharp and work great. It's true scissors, not a dagger. The point is sharp, but when the scissors are closed that's where the sharpness ends. Overall, it's a great piece for the price.

Very beautiful! The attention to detail and the workmanship of this piece is very well done and much more than what I expected for the cost. These have some weight to them and you can feel that the scissors are of a good quality. They are also sharpened, making a satisfying "snip" noise right out of the package. Note that these are SCISSORS; it is not actually a dagger, just in the shape of one. I suppose you could stab something with them, but its only the very tip that would be pointy and sharp. They are very nice, however, and perfect for my use. I think they'd also make a great, unusual gift for the sewers in your family!

Beauty meets functionality
The detail is exquisite and was also a great tool for my bodice (Renaissance fair geek alert!) lol. It's also lightweight enough to stuff in clothing near tender areas. Ahem. It's fine as scissors, but I have only been using the scissors function rarely for the sake of preservation since it doesn't feel ultra durable. I love that it also is a dagger and it looks really dashing tucked in a belt. It's a great price for a decorative conversation piece that I will treasure for a long time and I will look for any excuse to bring it out or wear it :)

Pleasantly surprised
I was not expecting these scissors to be this awesome. They are large, heavy, sharp, and feel quite solid. The case is plastic but you almost can't tell, the design, color, and weight makes it look so much like metal I have to keep double checking to convince myself it isn't. With the scissors closed it really does look like a dagger, overall looks pretty fancy, and edgy enough to cut something. Oh wait.

Awesome
Total impulse buy... I had absolutely no reason to buy this other than it looked really cool... The blades are actually really sturdy and long and I use it every chance I can get simply to unsheathe and feel like a bad*** cutting open every day things. The only downside is the sheath itself is plastic (bummer) but still pretty sturdy and the handle loops are not designed for comfort at all.

Exceeded expectations
I bought these as a gift for someone who collects scissors & was present when opened. They were really heavy, in a quality way, very sharp, and even the sheath was heavy & quality.

Gorgeous! Beautifully decorated. Cuts well. Slightly difficult to get out of the holder

I expected it to have sharp sides, (I'm not talking about the part you use to cut inside, on the sides of the blade when the scissors were closed.) It didn't. The package came in a box that was crushed.
