Small 1/8" Removable Transparent Mark-it Brand dots for maps, Reports or Projects - Seven Color Pack

These are really as described....SMALL!!! They work well if SMALL is what you are looking for. So SMALL they get list if you drop one. Great for my laminated map in my counseling office, but I should of went with a bigger size.

If you're looking for stickers to use on a map, get the opaque ones from the same brand, not these transparent stickers. These are quite transparent, and thus nearly impossible to see on a colored background, and also very difficult to see the difference between the colors.If you're planning to put these on a mostly white background, these might work for you. Otherwise, get the opaque version.

I am a grad student, and I use these to mark pages in my books. They are small enough not to be intrusive, and the light colors are transparent, so I don't have to put them in the margin; I can actually put them directly over the passage. But as the other reviewer noted, the dark colors aren't transparent enough for that. And they are TINY; I do use tweezers. Fortunately you can reposition them without damaging the page, and they stick. 1/4 inch ones are better for placing with fingers.

Overall, great product, but don't buy this because it's "transparent." Really, only the yellow would work as transparent. The others are too dark. They're also SUPER small. The diameter is only 1/8 of an inch. I have to use tweezers to make sure they're placed properly. But that works and isn't really a hassle. I do recommend them if you need this size stickers.

These are perfect for use on maps to mark locations, as they are transparent enough that you can still see the city name underneath. Note that the yellow ones are a bit hard to see on colored backgrounds, though.

The size of the dots are is too small!

Perfect for marking vintage maps, doesn't leave marks, are slightly transparent so you can still read the town names, and there are so many of them!

We got a map from pottery barn for the wall in the playroom and these dots are perfect to mark our children travel location. They are big enough to see where on the map we have been with out covering up too much of the location.
