Sweet smelling filament!
The media could not be loaded. Having a lighter wood filament already, I wanted something a bit darker so I went for this.Arrived in good time as usual. Packaging was decorative. Filament was shrink wrapped with the silica sachet. Wound up nicely on the roll. This filament does has a sweet liquorice smell which was odd, but pleasant in the same way! It also emits this scent whilst printing. My first print with this was the nine-tailed fox. I printed at 210 nozzle with 50 bed using 0.2 layersa and 25% infill.First layer was really good, and printing on a mirror bed, the filament continued to stay flat all the way through with no warping.I did experience some stringing, but that would be down to my settings as I am using a Microswiss. As for the woodiness...I was expecting it to be more wood like compared to my other wood filament, however, this seems more plastic-like than wood. I will be experimenting more with temperatures to see if this affects the finish.Overall, a great filament that is easy to print with and adheres well.

Needs more wood!
Works great like any PLA filament, you do have to be a little careful as it is somewhat brittle but it prints okay and gives a reasonable woody finish. This is actually the second timber based filament I have tried (different manufacturer) and this one is let down by have less wood in it. The first reel had a woody smell as it printed and the surface finish was more like MDF, this one is obviously timber in a plastic resin feel to it. It also doesn't have the woody smell as it printed. It is a good and consistent filament but not as woody as I would have liked.

Great wood fibre filament, prints clean and sharp
Used a standard benchy gcode I have for any test, so no special dialing in, just load filament and press go. .16 layer height, 60mms, 210C. Measured filament with digital calipers, 1.74 average along 1M so in tolerance well. Prints a nice smooth finish, no lumps or bumps. zooming in can see some minor imperfections, down to not using perfect temp / speed probably, as maybe a bit too fast for this thicker filament, so knocked a star off as I need to do some tweaking. No clogging or spluttering from direct drive Mk8 extruder. Sticks well first layer to PEI on flexi mag bed, initial layer 30mms, and pinged off cleanly. Next will print a groot planter and use some wood stain or varnish to see how the 30% wood content absorbs stains. Then a set of spiral speakers Nexitek made I think. More rolls coming soon I'm sure. Camera phone messed up the true colour as was shooting pics under fluorescent tubes, is more brown in real life than this, more wood looking!

Nice looking wood filament
The media could not be loaded. Finally plucked up the courage to give this a go. Prints all done on my Anet E10. Printed at 210C and 60C bed with a 0.4mm nozzle at 70mm/sec and 8mm retraction. Print come out great. My only issue with the filament is the spool itself. Every so often, the reel will jump, as the filament feeds during a print., as though its trapped in the spool. It's not caused any failed prints so far, but I'm worried it could further down the spool. Will have to keep an eye on it. That's why I couldn't give it 5 stars, unfortunately

Great for the Wood Effect Prints
This Item was bought after finding out that Wood Spliced PLA was a thing. I am impressed with how well it prints. I would however like to say, it is quite obvious on close inspection that the prints you make are not wood, If you think you are going to be able to fake your self some 'Handcarved Wood Statues' you would have to do some decent paint work after. The first thing i printed with this PLA was of course GROOT from Guardians of the Galaxy (Model From Thingiverse) and it came out groot... i mean Great. As is say at a distance it could be confused as actual wood. and the fact its wood effect means you can forgive errors on the print more as it adds the the effect of 'Carved'Great for if you want wood effect prints but dont think you are getting actual wood. This stuff will melt not burn in a fire.

terrible filament
Don't know if i got a bad batch but this has been the worst filament I have used - and I have gone through a fair number of rolls.Firstly it seems there are tangles throughout this reel, which has cause me a fair few failed prints - you can see from a front view of the reel that it was not wound even across the roll as one side the filament level is a lot lower with the other edge being higher than the middle. In addition to this it seems that the filament has been twisted when it was wound - when the filament is unwound it all tries to come off the reel on one sideSecondly no matter what settings I change this continues to keep missing layers, from research it appears this comes from uneven filament diameter - ruled out heat settings and flow rate as have tried no end of different variations with no success.Every other filament I have bought, I can get the correct settings dialled in with minimal fuss and playing around but already i have used a fair amount of this in an effort to get the settings right and haven't really had any what i would call successful prints from it.It may be cheap but you will use so much of this trying to get what approaches a useful print that you may as well just pay that bit extra getting decent stuff - definitely one to avoid
