This is a 3 terminal starter and original was a 4 terminal. Had to swap the solenoid.

This is a beautiful design, reduction gear high speed starter, with a built in planetary gear system. It has dual brushes and is wound like you have the strength of 2 small starters in one unit. Because it is wound with 4 brushes you don’t need the old large units that pull so many amps. Best design improvement I have seen in a long time. Some-one was thinking when they came out with these.
