Only an honest one. A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars. Sitting down to read another "Bluewater" thriller by this master wordsmith, is a guilty pleasure! I'm hooked on his adventures and enjoy sailing the Caribbean and Bahamas with him anytime. BLUEWATER ICE is no exception. Dougherty is a real sailor who describes sailing in authentic language. He cleverly ties this adventure to story lines from an earlier novel, DECEPTION IN SAVANNAH, by bringing in characters we met in that tale. This heart-pounding adventure brings a sexy dark-haired beauty aboard the Vengeance, as a charter passenger traveling with two passports. Who is she really? And who is desperate to find her? Dani, the kick-ass co-owner of the charter business, looks like a cute pixie but fights like a rowdy sailor. Dani's partner Liz could almost be her sister, and she's learned to fight too. The two sexy blondes know how to defend their ship and get rid of the bodies when necessary. Why involve the authorities and delay their customer's journey? The villains in this series are always deadly, ready to kill their best friends if it suits them. It's a good thing that Dani and Liz have "skills" and seriously dangerous friends to watch their backs. A fortune in diamonds, bought with dirty drug money, triggers a frantic hunt by the villains to recover their booty. These modern-day pirates live off the suffering of innocents. Dani is not about to give them back their treasure, and it wouldn't do any good. Drug runners and money launderers don't let witnesses live. Too bad they decided to tangle with Dani and her friends. If you haven't read other books in the series, don't worry. This is a standalone adventure that gives a reader enough information to satisfy, but it won't spoil the other books if you decide to read the rest. Get this action-packed adventure today and get hooked on the "Bluewater" series.

I love this series! The settings, sailing adventures, and of course bad guys needing attention. I am so looking forward to book 4 and seeing how Mr Dougherty blends this series together with a news series starring Connie.

The series is starting to become to predictable. Different bad guys with twisted plots of intrigue. The same good guy characters and they out smart the bad guys. Good read if you enjoy the book by itself but redundant if your reading the series. Great descriptions and sailing language. Read 4 books in a row and time to take a break.

The nice thing about reading books in a series, is that the characters become like friends and when they appear in the story, you interest is ramped up. Ah, Dani and Liz...trouble seems to follow them all over the Caribbean. But if it didn't, we wouldn't have a story, would we? These two ladies are getting more and more rough and tumble, as they once again pull themselves out of the fire and heap a big dose of "whoop-ass" on the bad guys. This time, they are accompanied by Connie, a charter passenger,who they befriend and bring along in their life style. This is the fourth in the Blue Water Thriller series and it doen't disappoint. I highly recommend reading them.

Totally enjoyed the story and the various characters we meet throughout. Already looking forward to the next book. Well written and completely enjoyed.
