This book was purchased for my grandson who is 5 and in kindergarten. On a recent visit to his home I read the book with him and helped him prepare a reportfor his class. It was an experience we both enjoyed. The book was well within his current reading capabilities and he especially enjoyed the humor.

My grandkids love this book. Very cute pictures and entertaining for them. They can read it themselves at ages 5 & 7. If you get a chance buy Sarah Weeks books Mac and Cheese. She is a wonderful writer.

This is my favorite book for young children. It has a good meaning and helps little ones realize that all can be included, even with differences.

Anything with animals keeps the little ones attention. They loved the story and laughed a lot. The illustrations were bright and colorful

Die Botschaft ist gut in eine nette Tiergeschichte mit netten Bildern gesetzt. Weniger gut finde ich, dass auf einer Doppelseite gleich zwei neue Situationen erscheinen. Für kleinere Kinder wäre es besser, nur eine Situation darzustellen, da sonst die Fokussierung schwerer gelingt. Das Buch müsste ein größeres Format für diesen Zweck haben.
