I purchased these for my eight year-old granddaughter for her and her friend to communicate through the backyards and let me tell you they are strong and loud . Just the right size for little hands and adorable too !

I purchased the Selieve Walkie Talkies for my kids, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to our outdoor adventures. The devices are user-friendly, making it easy for my 3 and 10-year-olds to operate independently. The sound quality is clear, and the 3-mile range allows them to communicate effectively during neighborhood games and camping trips. The backlit LCD and built-in flashlight are thoughtful features that enhance usability in various lighting conditions. The color is beautiful. While the build quality is generally good. Overall, these walkie talkies have provided hours of entertainment and are a great value for the price.

This was the third result that showed up when I searched for rechargeable walkie talkies. They are NOT rechargeable. That was my bad for not researching further but I was in a hurry and this item had a lot of positive reviews and would deliver by Christmas so I just went with it. I’m not basing my review on my failure to thoroughly read through the product description though as it does clearly state that these require batteries.The product pictures are inaccurate in my opinion. The screen is not backlit blue as shown in the pictures, it’s green. Minor detail but still an inaccuracy and I would have preferred blue. These seem to work well but I think they’re a little advanced for toddlers to figure out on their own. I would say these would be best suited for someone 5 and up but that’s just my opinion. Once an adult initially sets them up I think toddlers can use them but hopefully they don’t mess with the buttons and change channels because in our experience it’s been very easy to pick up other conversations on many of the channels. A private channel only for these two devices. It would be a really nice feature so you don’t have to worry about picking up other conversations. I also wish it would be easier to scan channels and have the walkie talkies automatically “pair” on a channel with an option to override it if needed. Currently they just keep scrolling through the channels endlessly until you stop it.I would have preferred the talk button to be on the side of the unit like a traditional walkie talkie because it would be less likely that kids would accidentally hit other buttons on the front when trying to use it and potentially totally change channels. This happened with ours and my toddler heard someone else talking and freaked out so she dropped it and hasn’t touched it since. There was also a frequency that was playing Christmas music continuously which was a little odd. I wish there was a way for the walkie talkies to scan to find a channel that’s not being used by anyone else but not sure that’s even possible and probably not at this price point. Another feature I wish these had was an automatic shut off if the walkie talkie is inactive for a certain period of time. This would be a nice feature to make configurable within the settings. Allow the user to pick the duration, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, etc. kind of like a TV sleep timer. This would help conserve battery life since these aren’t rechargeable. I did notice that the backlit display turns off if a button isn’t pressed for a while. This would also be a nice configurable option to choose to keep it on all the time or have it turn off if inactive for 30 seconds or whatever predetermined amount of time. We haven’t used these very long so I can’t comment on longevity, durability or how long the batteries last. I will say that the pink set is really cute and the flashlight is a nice feature. Depending on battery life, I may be looking to replace these with a rechargeable version which is what I originally wanted.

These walkie talkies are reasonably priced. Comes in a variety of colors appropriate for boys and girls. The size is perfect for their young hands. These are durable made and the sound is excellent.

Great product my kids love the talkies.

This is a mixed review! They work great but almost too great. We live in the country on 19 acres and one morning we heard talking on one of the walkies. Well our neighbor had walkie talkies they got for Christmas and it was picking them up. The range is good but because these were for my little kids I was worried about who could hear them and potentially try talking to them. That would be my fear if we lived in the city. I’m sure this just means they work really well but as a toddler mom I didn’t consider that.

Crazy good range. Able to pick up other people’s conversations, pretty fun.

These are awesome! My son loves them, they have great range and clarity. I can use it to call him and connect while he is out with friends down the street, even in other houses.
