Duck at the Door: An Easter And Springtime Book For Kids (Max the Duck, 1)

I read this book though in a bookstore, then ordered several copies for gifts and one for a classroom. The students and my nieces and nephews all loved it, and were re-telling the story to each other often after the first read. I've read to five and six year olds, and other kids up to age nine. One sat down and wrote her own further adventures of Max the duck and his friends.

Every child will also love Max! They can easily relate to his personality! I have bought several of these books for other friend's kids. I was so glad to see the author wrote other Max books also!. Ordered them also!

Bought this for my Grand and Great Grandchildren. They all loved it so much I purchased the Duck Soup Book. Two of my Grandchildren loved it so much I bought the stuffed duck, left it on the door step and rang the bell. As I watched from near by it was fun to see their reaction to meeting the Duck at the Door

We adore Max and and all his friends! We get this as a gift for other 3-7 year olds. Cute story, excellent pictures.

I bought 3 of her books and they are all so cute! My 2 year old nephew loves ducks, so these have become his favorite! The pictures are great and the story isn't so long that he gets bored with it!
