I ordered this during that extreme snow storm we had this winter. The bottle arrived with the lid loose and about 1/3 of the contents spilled, but was contained in the plastic bubble wrap envelope. It tasted wonderful, what can I say I had to lick my fingers. The next day in bright light I noticed little hair like particles suspended in the liquid. Ok, I was concerned. Contacted the company with the above information. They responded almost immediately, like within the hour. The product froze creating sugar crystals. Makes sense right? However, the company wasn't done, they credited my account for the product. Again, almost immediately. Amazing! Thank you OliveNation!We tried a little experiment on this vanilla. Took a little bit and put it in the microwave. Crystals all gone. :)

I bought this specifically because it says it's alcohol-free. The ingredients listed on the product page are Glycerine, sugar, vanilla bean extractive, xanthan gum, caramel color, water. The actual product lists lists the ingredients as Natural and artificial flavors, water, propylene glycol, zanthan gum, turmeric, FD&C red 40, benzyl alcohol. It smells nothing at all like vanilla. It smells like years-old perfume that has gone bad. There's no way I'd put this into anything that is meant for a human to eat!Also, nothing on the bottle says "vanilla" at all, even though the product page has a photo of a bottle labeled "vanilla extract." All I got is a bottle of alcohol with artificial flavors and colors.It says it isn't eligible for return, but I'm going to attempt a return since this is NOT ALCOHOL-FREE and is not the product described on the page!

So, wanted to bake some cookies and cake but every recipe lists vanilla extract. What's the problem? Majority of them contain alcohol and I want to omit it from the ingredients. It's pretty hard to find an alcohol free version or just it's just plain expensive from a tiny bottle.. Searched and searched and found these! Yureka! This definitely saved my recipes. A huge bottle.. Don't let the alcohol and gluten free fool you. This still has a strong vanilla taste. I am soooooooo thankful I found this!

I received this and it sure tasted like it had alcohol. The color was a cloudy brown, not the deep molasses color I'm used to. It was quite pricey and I had to pay for shipping to return unfortunately.

This is the best vanilla extract I have ever tasted. For the longest time I hated how regular vanilla extract tasted. I went looking for alternatives and found this. The vanilla flavor is very true to real vanilla flavor. Alcohol free tastes so much better. The price difference is worth it because what you get in taste is equal or greater.I have purchased this direct from Olive Nation and also through Amazon.

I wish I had read the reviews first. When I read the label, I was appalled: propylene glycol is used in making anti-freeze; not good for nutrition. I want to avoid the alcohol, but at what price?

I was had been looking for an alcohol free vanilla extract for quite some time. So I was very excited when I found this product. It is a thicker than the extracts with alcohol in them, but the quality is much better. The flavor is very concentrated, but I never found a need to dilute it out first. It has worked well as is in everything that I have used it in.
