Kirkland Signature Pure Vanilla, 16 Ounce

I have been using this vanilla for a few months. I do not like to write a review until I have used a product several times. The flavor and scent have been perfect for each recipe I made. The 16 oz. is much better for me than the tiny bottles from the grocery store and a better value. It is nice to know I am not going to run out of vanilla, especially during holiday baking. I have made my own vanilla two different times. That was fun and interesting, but the cost of the vanilla beans and bottles adds up quickly, and it takes months for the flavor to fully develop. While that was a fun experiment, I am very satisfied with this product and plan to buy it again when I need more.

I'm incredibly pleased with the flavor and quality of this pure vanilla extract oil from Kirland Signature Brand. The price is great, comparable or better than any pure vanilla extract I can find in local grocery stores. We used it in cupcakes and banana bread with a little pure almond oil and the flavor was warm and delicious. We tried some imitation the time before it and we knew we had to make an investment in some quality extract. It turns out, this is actually more affordable than the imitation brand we were buying! We plan on always keeping an extra bottle of this in stock before it gets halfway used!

Seems like there are some super-fancy vanilla sommeliers up in these ratings. I'm not a professional baker, but the sheer volume of my thighs would tell you I bake a lot. So much so that it was a somewhat disconcerting realization that I need to reorder this vanilla already. And I will reorder this vanilla rather than trying some other vanilla because it tastes and smells like vanilla and it's cheap.It doesn't have any kind of discernible "bouquet," but it also doesn't cause an unpleasant aftertaste. It arrives in a box, in 2 days, at my door, and it's great for baking.I don't know what kind of magical utopian vanilla some of you people are trying to find, but this one is fine for me, and I would recommend it to other regular people.
