Kirkland Signature Pure Vanilla, 16 Ounce

Excellent product at a great price. Use this in all my baked goods and more. Excellent if you add just a little to your pot of coffee or in some hot chocolate.

We use a lot of vanilla extract and purchasing multiple small bottles at the grocery store becomes very expensive very quickly. The 16oz bottle of Kirkland(Costco) brand is significantly less costly and can be purchased through Amazon with delivery to my front door and I can avoid the trip to Costco ....and you know you never leave Costco with that single item you made the trip for.... This product is just as tasty and cooks up just as well as "Brand McC." from the grocery store. Thanks Amazon!

Good product

I have been using this vanilla for a few months. I do not like to write a review until I have used a product several times. The flavor and scent have been perfect for each recipe I made. The 16 oz. is much better for me than the tiny bottles from the grocery store and a better value. It is nice to know I am not going to run out of vanilla, especially during holiday baking. I have made my own vanilla two different times. That was fun and interesting, but the cost of the vanilla beans and bottles adds up quickly, and it takes months for the flavor to fully develop. While that was a fun experiment, I am very satisfied with this product and plan to buy it again when I need more.

Flavor is a little weak, but OK. I have always bought my vanilla from a lovely Mexican lady here in my town and it simply tastes better...more vanillaie (doubt that is a work but you get the idea). I am buying this again since me sweet lady passed away.

Great value!

I bought this to primarily use in homemade ice cream and pancakes. The price was very reasonable although I had to buy a larger size bottle to get it. Call it a volume discount but it's much better than paying the exorbitant prices for the 1 or 2 oz. bottles. Spoilage is not a concern either. Have used in both products listed above and the taste comes through very well. Much better than the artificial flavoring as well. Very pleased with this product and purchase.

Seems like there are some super-fancy vanilla sommeliers up in these ratings. I'm not a professional baker, but the sheer volume of my thighs would tell you I bake a lot. So much so that it was a somewhat disconcerting realization that I need to reorder this vanilla already. And I will reorder this vanilla rather than trying some other vanilla because it tastes and smells like vanilla and it's cheap. It doesn't have any kind of discernible "bouquet," but it also doesn't cause an unpleasant aftertaste. It arrives in a box, in 2 days, at my door, and it's great for baking. I don't know what kind of magical utopian vanilla some of you people are trying to find, but this one is fine for me, and I would recommend it to other regular people.
