Fun book!
I did a lesson plan with this book for one of my classes. They all loved the book and activity in the back of the book. This is a great resource when teaching kids about 3D shapes. The back of the book has great resources for a lesson plan.

I recently used this book as an introduction to geometry and the students loved it. We created substations and worked together as different color-coded crews as Mission Control Mathematicians. The students were engaged with the story of Captain Invincible and loved the ending!

Great book
I was surprised as how cute the book was. I have lent it out to all my teacher friends. I was hoping to get it sooner but I guess you cannot control the postal.

A Good Read!
Had not read this book before purchasing it and can't wait to use it when we study shapes in my classroom. I am sure it will be a huge hit with my students.

This is one of the best Stuart Murphy books - my 3 year old is excited by the story and the constant 'dangers' faced by Captain Invincible, and loves getting me to read it to him. As a result, he knows the shapes - the cone, cube, pyrimid etc. Great learning book!!

I've given this four stars as it's one of the few books dedicated to making a story of 3D shapes. And it doesn't do a bad job. It's not the most captivating story but enough thAt the children will sit through it every now and again. I worried slightly that's it makes space into a scary space with poison gas, monsters etc (which the shapes help to ward off) but my son aged 4 seems to be ok with it.

Great book for linking literacy and math. The kids enjoy the problem-solving and shape spotting!

Was slightly disappointed with the amount of words written on each page. But for introducing shapes and talking about with your child afterwards, I would recommend this book. Giving it 4 stars due to the limited text on each page. Nevertheless, my 4 year enjoyed reading it several times. Would consider buying more from this author, specifically for my younger children 4 and under.
