The item came in a small velvet bag. It was bigger than I thought it was going to be, and the main charm is thicker than I thought it was going to be. It seems pretty sturdy, but I can see it getting easily scratched - only time will tell how well it holds up. Can't wait to give it to my mom for Mother's Day.
