Sounds great for this price point!
Low cost. Great sound. Set your expectations though. I use multiple tunings when recording. I needed a backing guitar tuned normally, and this fits the bill. It is built well, like most Fenders. It stays in tuning after the customary stretching and breaking in. About those expectations: It doesn't sound as full and balanced as my Gibson, but the price point had already set my expectations. For its price point, this Fender Dreadnought is great.

Great guitar.
Box was slightly damaged during shipping, but the hard case and the guitar itself were safe and in perfect condition inside. For the price, this is a fantastic guitar. It sounds great, and feels nice. The action was in a good spot on arrival, and it tuned up nicely. I went for the black version, and I love it. Very glossy, piano black. My only complaint is the sticker on the pick guard. I've seen it mentioned in other reviews, but please stop putting stickers on things that you know the end user is going to remove. A note in the box would be more than sufficient. None the less, after a couple minutes picking at it I finally got most of the sticker off. UPDATING: For me, there was a thin plastic layer on the pick guard. I don't know if it's intended to come off or not, but I peeled it off, and it looks significantly better than it did with some of the adhesive left behind. I'll update this review if anything significant changes over it's lifespan!

Great for players of all skill levels
Picked this guitar up to have a decent travel and bang around acoustic. After opening it up and giving a simple tune, this guitar really wowed me. The sound is crisp and clear with a deep resonance on lower notes. Not much setup was required at all, though I did have to make a minor trus rod adjustment to fix a first fret buzz in the High E string (I'd also suggest better strings). The case is a great hard shell for gigging, open mics, or taking camping. Added bonus is it locks to secure your guitar and accessories. Overall you can't go wrong with a name like Fender, and I'd highly suggest this guitar to starters or even experienced players looking to add a cheaper but high quality acoustic to their collection.

Two great guitars! :-))
I bought this guitar and am loving it... AMAZING for the money and even comes in a top quality case. You have the choice of my natural spruce color with a laminated top which gives a bright sound or CD-60S which has a solid top and a bit more mellow sound at about the same price but with less expensive tuning keys. I recommend listening to both on YouTube and make your choice. Both are just great for the price!

Best sounding, looking, and feeling guitar I've ever owned!
This is my fourth guitar, and I have to say, it’s easily the best sounding, looking, and feeling one I’ve ever bought. My first was a Donner HUSH-I Headless Portable Guitar, which was fun but really specific in its use. Then I got a Maher electric guitar from a thrift shop, which had some charm, but I struggled to get a good sound out of it. After that, I picked up a cheap acoustic guitar from a pawn shop, which didn’t last long and felt pretty flimsy. Compared to those, this Fender acoustic guitar feels like a huge step up. It’s well-built, sounds full and rich, and just has this satisfying feel when I play. I’m still learning, but I can tell this one is going to last me a long time. It even comes with a hard case, which is a bonus. For anyone looking to upgrade or get a solid acoustic, this guitar is totally worth it!
