Fun, Interesting and Most of all, Encouraging! Great read!
I have followed Candace Cameron Bure for decades now, from Full House to Dancing with the Stars and now on Hallmark channel. Having read her previous two books, I knew that I would have to have this one as well. Her books are very easy to read and relate to as it applies to individuals on all levels, whether you are a professional, a parent, or just someone who enjoys hearing others' stories so that you can apply it to your own life. I appreciate Candace's books because, although I am not in the entertainment spotlight, her words make me feel that I can relate my own life to hers. She provides biblical verses and references to personal stories. The biblical references reaffirm that she is someone that I want to look up to, but the personal stories make the book interesting, fun, and relevant to similar struggles of all moms as we juggles life's responsibilities. In this book, while I enjoyed the personal pictures and behind the scene stories from Dancing with the Stars, I especially appreciated her honesty regarding her personal struggles during the journey. I learned that she has REAL relationships with her family and friends. One particular story that tug at my heart strings was a very personal conversation that she had with her daughter. I can particularly relate to that at this point in my life, because I seem to have the same struggle with juggling too many things at once and not paying distinct attention to ONE moment. Candace reminded me that it is important to slow down and enjoy special moments and life lessons. There were parts in this book where I laughed out loud and then seconds later had tears rolling down my eyes. I think this book would help other who are dealing with multiple responsibilities in life. It is a fun, easy read (I read it in ONE day, while traveling) but one that politely gives you life lessons along the way. This book makes me look forward to her next book as well!

I have Candace's other two books and enjoyed her style and her openness to her fans
I have Candace's other two books and enjoyed her style and her openness to her fans. But she also has a sense of privacy and respect for her family, which was also extremely admirable. I've always been a DJ Tanner/Full House fan and looked forward to reading about her recent experience on DWTS (Dancing With The Stars). In this book she gets real. She talks about her experience and the things she learned along the way. It was more than just the physical and emotional draining and stress. A few things I really related to were her struggles to try to please everybody- even people she didn't know online. As a Christian I believe we have a tendency to think more about how our convictions stand in relation to other believer's. Sure we can get wisdom and insight from others, but we need to remember only God can know our hearts and we should stop "fearing man."Another area Candace discussed was kniwing where you stand. Sometimes that looks different from other Christian's, but we need to learn what we value and where our persobal boundaries before we come against a wave of opposition that overcomes us. This gets personal for me as I am exploring more about what my faith means to and how I can articulate my beliefs as a believer in Christ. Sometimes our convictions change, but let it be the fear of man that changes them. Allow the working of the Holy Spirit to work on your heart instead.I recommend this book for people who are either just exploring faith or who are mature in faith. Candace's book will surely offer you some insights and wisdom on your journey. She doesn't get preachy, she just keeps it real. It is an easy read, which I love! It's like she is talking to me personally! And Candace is always so gracious and open with her crazy fans! Not to mention you can certainly enjoy the DWTS behind the sences info straight from someone who has been there!Happy reading!

Don't just dance...shine!
Amazing read! Great book about how even in the spotlight we have to remain focused on our Christian values and remain true to our beliefs. No matter who you are or what role you have in this world you must remember to use your light and shine for God. Great back story of her time on Dancing with the Stars and the struggles she faced as well as various stories from the bible that related to her story.

Great for college age!
I am a huge fan of Candace Bure and Dancing With The Stars. I am a college student so I wasn't sure if I could relate with her being famous and a mom, but I am always so impressed with her integrity and faith I wanted to read this book. It doesn't matter what phase you are in life, you can totally relate on a spiritual level. I particularly understood her points about trying to please everyone especially on social media but we should only worry about God's opinion of us. Her convictions were tested on the platform of a reality TV show but she clearly made the point that we all face times when we need courage to stand for our convictions on our platform of life. We can choose for things to be hard or put our trust in God and choose joy and happiness. I am at a time in my life trying to find my career path and it is hard and frustrating, but after reading this book I feel a lot more confident in listening to my heart and doing what I feel is what God wants me to do. I am suggesting it to my friends. It is entertaining while refreshing of the spirit at the same time. We aren't teens but we don't feel grown. The chapter on "In His Image " was very thought provoking. We want to attract a life partner and at this age image definitely attracts the right or wrong guys. I want guys to see confidence and strength. The next chapter was very helpful. I don't have to be perfect. This is important for a female at any age to realize, but understanding it before marriage and becoming a parent is something I am grateful for taking away with from reading this book. It is very freeing while at the same time making me feel so much more solid. Thank you Candace! I am so thankful you wrote this book. It was perfect timing for me and I am sure for others!
