Huge hit with the 5 year old granddaughter
Five year old granddaughter has a brother on the way so we bought this for her to love on while brother is being cared for by parents. She LOVED it! It is a great size for her to carry and love on. I think the baby is really cute (so does she), but other people in our house feel the face may be a little creepy. Granddaughter loves to change his clothes and diaper. Bought the bottles that appear to empty when you tip them and those are a big hit as well even though this baby doesn't have a mouth designed for a bottle to fit.

High quality well made
JC Toys always has excellent quality dolls. This is my third doll purchase & I highly recommend this brand. High quality, great price point & more accessories than the Madame Alexander dolls. JC Toys dolls are very well made, resemble a real baby & overall are just excellent.

Very realistic Iām impressed
My daughter wanted a newborn baby that was realistic and that is exactly what this baby is!After looking over all the baby dolls on Amazon and reading the reviews, I decided to give this one a shot.It comes with an extra onesie, a diaper, birth certificate with space for you to add the birth weight and height etc, and it even comes with the umbilical cord protector. The eyes look amazing; better than the picture. I highly recommend this doll. Arrived super fast and the packaging was great too.šš¼

Adorable, but not as cuddly as he appears
I used to have an antique baby doll that was destroyed. After realizing I didn't like any other antique affordable dolls, I looked for modern, true baby, dolls. This little guy checks all the boxes for me. He's very realistic, without falling into the creepy 'is that baby *dead*?? ' pitfall of the Realborn doll. I adore his cheeky little smile and side glance. As a display piece, he's perfect. His clothing is high quality, fits well, and there is an extra outfit included. He even has a belly band over his tiny navel! The downsides as a doll for play are that he is not very posable, with his arms & legs jointed only at shoulders and hips. The way his limbs are curled, they can't be rearranged easily for different poses. Also, his head is permanently lifted, he can't lie flat on his back with his head touching the surface. He feels hard and plastic when held like a baby.On the plus side, he can go in the water.I'm very pleased with him, for the "aawww, cuuute" factor of display, and for his great little wardrobe. Only you can decide if he's right for your child's style of doll play.Oh, and he could just as easily be coded as she-- no gender anatomy at all. The doll is also available in other skintones, I believe.

Cutest baby doll face ever! Made for lying down or cradled position.
Love this little guy's impy smile! He's so cute! This is a well crafted baby doll that I bought for my toddler. All of the features are really beautiful...dimple-y arms and legs, baby rolls...so we'll detailed! My tot loves taking the baby's hat on and off...he thinks it's hilarious.Important to note: the baby's neck is positioned as though an arm is underneath it at all times and there is no way to adjust positions...so when you try to sit the baby up in a high chair it looks super awkward with the baby staring down at his own feet. If you have the baby lying down or held like a newborn, he looks perfectly fine, but he would look super strange in a highchair or umbrella stroller. I guess it's appropriate because the doll looks like a newborn, but it does limit it's okay capabilities a tad. This is a beautifully made doll though. High quality and perfect weight for a toddler to care for!

Still going strong
I was so happy to find this boy baby doll for my 4 year old son when his baby brother came home. He's 11 now with another brother. And this baby doll has lasted all three boys and continues to be enjoyed. Very realistic looking, so we make sure to cover it with a blanket when we go into the store so nobody thinks there's a real baby left in the car.

Great Newborn Doll Set for a Young Child
My 7-year old daughter was ecstatic when this package arrived in the mail! It came very fast (3 days?), even though we selected the standard free shipping. It was listed as "previously owned, like new," but it was all intact in its original package, and it WAS indeed all like new! The cardboard box was a little battered but that got tossed aside immediately anyway.Unfortunately the baby doesn't sit well in the new toy stroller we just got, but it would probably work fine in a slightly larger one (tour stroller is smaller... more for a 1 or 2 year old).I think this doll might be a better fit for a child older than 2 1/2 to 3 years old because of its size and weight. My daughter really wanted a doll set that included a pacifier and a diaper, so this is great. She immediately gave it a bath that day after seeing a little girl bathing the doll in a photo on the side of the box.My dau explained all about how she was using lotion and powder, and also the wash cloth that was included.I showed her how to properly swaddle and burp the baby, and we used the wash cloth as a burp towel. This doll set is a great gift set with plenty of accessories to thrill any little aspiring mommy (or daddy), and the baby is very cheerful looking, too, which is not always easy to find in realistic newborn baby dolls. That was one of the reasons I chose it.Now the legs, arms, and head do not move on this doll, so changing the clothes is a little more difficult, but I didn't hear any complaints. This is also why it doesn't "sit" well in the stroller. Also, it is an anatomically gender-neutral doll.
