HairUBuild Hair Loss Concealer, Hair Building Fibers 23 g / 0.8 oz (Dark Brown)

I've used Toppix for years and switched to Xfusion because it's exactly the same thing but much less expensive. I saw this brand and thought I'd give it a try because it was bit less than even Xfusion. Unfortunately, while it is similar, there's too many cons for me to consider buying this again. First of all too much comes out at once, I thought this was a good thing at first because it didn't take as long to apply coverage to my thin spots. However, this creates a problem with it clumping on the scalp and too much product being on the scalp as well. Once it clumps together if you bend over or a gust of wind comes up while you are outside there are big pieces missing from your coverage. This happened even with it "locked in" with hairspray. The next issue is when you sweat. I live in the south and it's the summer so sweating is going to occur just walking to/from the store to my car. I use the dark brown so I don't know if it's that particular color or if it would be the same with all colors but it turns my sweat red and then left stain marks on my face. I get this with Toppix and Xfusion to, but it turns a greenish color and doesn't stain. Overall, too many cons for me to consider purchasing this again.

I bought this for the first time about a 2 years ago and it sat on my shelf for 6 months before I tried to use it. I was worried that it would look weird , that people could see it on the top of my head and also I was concerned about what would happen if I sweated. (Is sweated a word?) lol. So one day I finally mustered up the courage to use this and I absolutely LOVE it. I tried using the more expensive stuff (Topix?) and I found that this is the EXACT same stuff, only cheaper. This stuff works surprisingly VERY well. My hair is a little thin on top and this stuff makes it look like I have a full, thick head of hair. I use it every day now! I also go to the gym with this stuff on and there are no issues. The only advise I can give is get a black pillow case if your like me and are too lazy to wash it off at night.

For quite a while, I have been losing hair - following in my father's footsteps, like so many other men. However, this is a miracle product. It totally covers my bald spot and no one has ever been able to tell that I'm wearing it. Just sprinkle it on, spray it in place with regular hair spray, and go about your day. The only downside to using it is that you absolutely must wash your hair every single day. Otherwise, you will end up with colored stains all over your pillowcase.I've tried many different brands of these hair fibers and most of them seem to be pretty much the same. But the difference with this particular one is that it doesn't stop up the drain in my shower. All the other brands I have used ended up clogging my drain and I would have to clean it out regularly with a clothes hanger. This product is probably lighter and not quite as thick, so it washes down the drain without any problem!

I have tried Nanogen , Caboki as well. Cos this was cheaper than them so I thought of trying it. First thing that's good about it is that it lasts longer than others for a lesser price. And when i am saying longer its really longer. My Nanogen or Caboki lasts about a month but this one lasted couple of months.Coming to the -ve points . I wish there was see through bottle like Caboki so that you can actually see how much is left. Secondly, its okay as compared to Caboki, I feel it doesnt mix well with the hairs and color was too dark. When you sell a black color , you should understand that no one is carrying "jet" black color in world.It should be little lighter than dark black. It comes off too easily. I am getting little acne too on my forehead cos it falls down everyday.

HairUBuild works great as good if not better than other brands. I had thought Caboki was the best but this is also good. You will need patience and practice when applying. If you want great holding results use Next Generation Grooming mist, it is healthy for your hair and fairly cheap.UPDATE:It's been nearly a month of use now and I can tell you that the results are still great and this bottle will last you the month that it's suppose too. I was a little sceptical at first as the fibers are powder like but my fears were put to rest after seeing the results. I thought that Caboki was great but this stuff clings to your existing hairs much better than Caboki. Caboki use to scatter the fibbers when applying the hair spray but HairUBuild clings just great before the spray is applied. My advice from before still stands, that you need practice, patience, and to use it sparingly to get great results.

I bought this (black color) because the supplies and price for Xfusion has been fluctuating. Unlike Xfusion, the fibers for HairUBuild is coarser. Also, they tend to clump to each other more than sticking on the hair. Depending on how you apply it, you can have clumps of the fibers instead, and they can "fall off" easily. The coarser fiber in turn creates a "blacker" color look. This may or may not work for some people as despite your hair looking black, it may actually have a lighter shade than this. Personally, I prefer Xfusion, so this will be more of a backup.

HairUBuild is an amazing hair loss concealer, at an amazing price! I used Caboki (which is wonderful as well) but I couldn't believe this product works just as great as the other competitors have to offer. I use the dark brown version and it matches my color of my hair without mixing. Even though most of the fibers come out more than Caboki when you shake it, but it sticks and lasts longer than other concealers have to offer! I would recommend this product if your on a budget and want great results. They have other colors to match your hair type! Take a try and you'll be impressed just like I was!

This product, unlike the sprays I've used in the past, gives my hair a natural feel and doesn't come off on sheets and my fingers! I'll be purchasing more...!
