Hanten Cotton Jacket Made in Japan Kimono-Style Womens Red

Purchase this for my wife's birthday. She absolutely loved it because not only was it warm it was comfortable. Shipping was fast and the seller had great communication. Overall great item for a gift or for yourself to wearer when its cold.

This is so warm and cozy! It's like a pretty wearable blanket! I can keep my heat turned down and still be warm in my house. I usually wear a medium and this fits me fine. (Petite, 5'3" and 135 lbs.) It's like one of those one size fits "all." All being about a medium! :) I looked at a lot of these before I chose this one. This one to me was a little more sophisticated than some of the other more "childlike" prints. And, I wasn't disappointed...it is a really nice print! AND, it came so much faster than the estimate! It came in just 5 days!! Amazing.

This would be best for a size 10-14 female, I have to tie it with a 5" gap in front but it still looks good. Arrived in only 5 days, beautiful fabric. Please consider sizing up. Would buy again, would like to have it in a blue combo, a grey combo, purple...

The jacket arrived quickly from Japan. It is beautiful and well made. I am surprised, however, that it is labeled as a woman's jacket. The only choice was M-L, and I assumed this would be the equivalent of small in US sizes, since Japanese women are so petite. Wrong. This jacket is huge, as though made for a man. I am only 5'4", medium sized in US clothing, and the jacket makes me feel like a football player. It is warm and beautifully lined in pink, and fits perfectly through the hips. Since shipping was $30.00!!! I assume I would have to pay that much to send it back. Maybe I'll just wear it around the house to keep warm. I do love the fabric... if it were only smaller.

Beautiful traditional hanten. I’ve probably owned 12 or 13 of these over the years, as my son, that had been living in Japan for over 20 years, sends them to me regularly—he knows I love them. The service is very fast and very professional, I never expected to receive my hanten so fast, so I’m a happy camper.
