Never been one to spend a lot of money on a cowboy hat or any other hat, this hat fit my budget and fits great. I did add the hat band. Solid hat for the money

Size
Ordered a 7 1/2. It wasn't even a 7 5/8. Way too small. There was also some defects on the crown. Sent it back.

Not true to size
Unfortunately this hat runs small. 7 1/4 is not 23". The hat is nice and well made, arrived on time and packaged well but although labeled 7 1/4 it is far smaller than labeled. Returning and ordering 7 1/2 hoping it will actually be 23".
