When you can't drain down hill at 1/4" per foot this is a great way
I had heard of sani-flo and all the different products to solve problems with non-sloping drains are very tough to slope to a drain. In this case a slab issue caused the kitchen sink drain to become unusable. It was to go outside and dig and install a 2" pvc line and cut and break up the concrete driveway and then go about 60' to to the 4" line in the back yard. I decided it was less cost and quicker to purchase the SaniiFlo and install it. I ordered this from Amazon at a good price and a few days out. Very acceptable. It arrived and I started to install it.1. a nice small footprint for under the sink and I set flush to the left side.2. is to connect existing sink drain to the correct top outlet. this was the quickest and easiest part3. then I connected to the existing vent stack. (this is must or run a new vent stack.)(automatic vents not allowed)4. lastly I ran 1" PVC as the new drain line out the wall and up on the outside of the house and then into the attic. I ran maybe 35' to a 2" cast iron vent stack, drilled a hole and inserted the 1" pipe and then sealed with Dow silicone caulk,Plugged the unit and off to the races. Very quiet and quick pumping.I would recommend this as an option.Note: This unit was the smallest one I wanted to try but it was way under utilized as it can have had more fixtures dump into it and still work great. This one was for grey water only.

Great Pump for a Utility Upflow
I installed it in the basement where I needed a utility sink and this Saniswift Pro pump was perfect. All the parts you need are included which is great. I spent more time getting tapped into my septic system just because of tight spaces but setting up the pump was a no-brainer. Working well and it is pretty quiet. You can hear it when it comes on, but it runs for less than 10 seconds.

Missing parts 😕
It's a great product and I've used it many times. This time however the check valve and the connection couplings that normally come with the pump assembly were not in the package ❗

It works excellent. This is my third unit in the past ...
For me, I use this under a sink in my wet bar, I do not have floor drain lines, as, mine are located 3 feet off the floor. My Saniflo pumps the “waste Water” from the sink through 40’ of 3/4” PVC pipe.It works excellent. This is my third unit in the past 6 years. What I have learned from past experiences and why I’ve been through 3 of them, is, this pump is NOT a grinder pump, don’t expect it to chew up food, it’s not a garbage disposal.2nd, since it does not just flow downward to a gravity drain like the rest of your home, it actually needs to PUMP the fluid, so don’t keep pouring sugary type drinks into it(like soda) or other, even beer and alcohol WITHOUT running water with it.If you do, the sugar base will foul the internal float and prevent it from turning on and the fluids will back up in your sink.YOU MUST RUN WATER WHEN POURING ANYTHING IN THE DRAIN OTHER THAN WATER ITSELF.Trust me, I’ve replaced 2 of these already. If you watch what goes into it, your good to go.I do now.I have no issues with cold water.I have no issues with hot water.I have no issues with the “Pumping” noise it makes. The Saniflo works great.Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

Super Quiet
We added a full bathroom to our basement because our kids play sports and have sleepovers almost every weekend. We wanted the convenience of keeping everything downstairs including muddy athletes walking into the basement and showering before entering the main part of the house. While we could have the shower and sink lines to the Saniflo macerater we use for the toilet we decided to purchase the grey water pump for the shower and the sink for 2 reasons:1) It would make the piping easier to connect to another pump in our configuration.2) The Grey Water pump is super quiet and we wouldn't have to hear the larger pump run more frequently. It's been well over 2 years and both Saniflo pumps have worked great without any issues. Very happy with the added convenience of a full bath in the basement and the Saniflo product line.*The only maintenance I do is to run the descaler through the pumps every 6 months. That is a very simple process that takes little time.

Reuse Grey Water.
This is a great little pump if it worked. It wouldn't trip on with water and just leaked from the top. After calling tech support.... open the top by removing the two Torx 20 screws and pressing out the four tabs, starting with the front. This will take a large flat screw driver unless you have fingers of steel. My gasket was laying in the bottom of the tank. (explains leaking around the top) and the bottom was off the impeller housing. The gasket goes on the lid. Great! ... but assembled, still wouldn't trigger on. Apparently the electronic board was damaged because of not having a gasket in place. I could get it to fire by plugging it in and out, but only for seconds. I think this is a good device, and am going to reorder. Wish me luck. Check out my pictures. Reuse grey water. The fittings are irregular because it deals with drain pipe as opposed to water delivery sizes (inside or outside pipe dimensions. No problem, the fittings are available, look for rubber couplings with clamps. The big box building stores have them. Use pvc reducing adapters and Teflon tape to make a good transition, even on slip fittings to rubber. It will prevent leaks. Be sure to use a two way vent pipe or (aka open stack) on top left or top right opening. Outlet in top middle only. Be sure to insert the 1" rubber washer that comes with it. Use solid pipe on the outlet for good reason. Lots of torque. Empty your washing machine into a sink, connect to the drain and into the side inlet with the provided adapter. (Teflon tape and clamp)
