Wonderful!
Bought these to give an old gate some structure. They are lovely and really made the gate look ancient and hefty.

Very expensive and all the parts not included.
I like the product, it does not come with hardware.Hardware is also very expensive.Hardware is not sold in amounts for brackets that I could find, just large quantities and you have to search all over to find the parts.You can’t buy 2 brackets and the screws.I now have to go to Lowe’s to find the matching hardware.

Strap Ties don't match description
I ordered APL6 L Strap Ties to match the rest of my pavilion but these are APVL6 they don't match despite in the photos and description showing APL6 style.

Does not come with screws
For the price and reputation of Simpson Strong Tie, I assumed these would come with black powder-coated 1/2" screws. It doesn't. We had to use stainless because our local and big box hardware stores didn't have black 2 1/2 × 1/2" available.Not ideal.
