Ringside Weighted Gloves

I love to do cardio kickboxing / type classes where you perform lots of kicks and punches in the air. These have a few velcro fasteners but they don't stay on tightly. Therefore they move around my hands a bit, and after 1/2 a class or so, they start chafing so badly that my skin breaks and bleeds. I even wear work out gloves underneath to minimize the rubbing, but they don't really help. So, in a nutshell, not great if you plan to move your arms a lot - punching, striking, etc.

These are way too loose and bulky. I wanted heavier weight gloves but they don't stay on you definitely need bigger hands. I'm a female so maybe unless you have man hands then they will fit but they just kept falling off me and making me mad since I had to stop my workout every 5 minutes to put them back on and adjust them! I don't recommend them for females especially and I'm sending mine back.

I bought the 2 pound gloves "which are the blue ones" and while they had an awkward fit they still worked well. The 3 pound red gloves had a horrible fit and I could not use them for shadow boxing without fearing the glove would fly off.

I have used the total 6 lb gloves for 8 years and now buying a new set as have worn out the 1st set. I have very small hands and had to modify the way I wear them, but modified, they are snug on my hands and wrists. The exterior material has now worn enough to make me worry that the sand may break through in certain areas, but hey, I got 8 years of at least twice a week but usually more use out of them. I did look at other gloves, but have no desire to go down in weight of gloves.

I agree with the other reviews up so far. These appear sturdy enough, but they are loose. Worse than lose, they're not gloves and have no business being called gloves. They're hand straps and they strap on with 3 thin strips of Velcro and there's no way to get them snug at all. The weight is good, heavier than most weighted "gloves" at 3 lbs per, but they are loose, bulky and shaky. They're also not that easy to put on yourself, but they might fit a bit better if you have a friend put them on for you. Now, I don't hate them, at least, I'm not returning them, but it's not a product I'd recommend unless you don't mind very loose fitting.

These do NOT stay on your hands. I have no idea who designed these, but they must have horse feet. They're junk and were returned. Unless you want to keep your hands closed so they don't slip off constantly, look elsewhere. In the picture, you can even see they require a balled fist to hold them on. Not very ergonomic.

Yes, color matters, and the picture of my order was red. The gloves are hard to put on and they do not fit snugly. I will keep them because it is a pain to have to return things that I have already paid shipping for.

I was surprised that there was sand padding all around, especially in the palm area. I had hoped to be able to grip weights and jump rope, but they're difficult with these gloves. You're better off simply sparring with them.

fits well (I have big hands) however needs much more velcro (both wider and longer) to support the weight when fitted (3 pounds can move a lot during training) and to give options for strap position.

Like the other reviews say they are a bit big but I was expecting that. Now the more I wear them they are molding to my hand and I like them even more.
