Good thermal cooker
Keep food warm and can be use to reheat foods. Usually take it out when we go road trip or picnic to have warm foods to eat with family.

Very well worth it
I’ve been using the this same thermal cooker for years. It is wonderful if you want to take a hot meal with you on the road. You can keep food above 160 degrees for 8 hours. In a power shortage situation this could be a lifesaver!👍

Good Quality
I originally bought this thermal cooker for three reasons: one of the few at a reasonable price, actually specified 304 18/8 stainless steel instead of using stainless steel as a generic term (and reading reviews about rusting), and it has a solid inner tray that I could use for more thermal mass (boiling water) when I want to cook smaller meals and still get the needed thermal mass for long cooking.I received the product a few days ago, but haven't had the chance to try it out yet. The outside is clean and compact. Handle is comfortable and nestles away nicely. The lid does latch closed which is nice. I don't feel this is a secure enough latch to hold in any liquids in the pot if it got turned sideways, but I think that would be an unrealistic expectation. I think it will do admirably if kept upright. It feels heavier than it looks like it should (a good sign in my opinion.) Upon releasing the latch, the hinge is spring loaded and will fly open. The body of the thermal cooker is metal (inside and outside.) The lid (and supporting ring) is plastic and the base is plastic. There are three things inside. The lid and small solid insert are pretty thin metal, but I don't think that's a problem. They aren't the heavy lifter of the group. The main pot is solid. Much like a regular soup pot. The bottom is nice and thick. It looks like three wafers were welded to the bottom to make it quite sturdy. The same thing you see on many pots/pans of decent quality where they will mesh three wafers on the bottom (2 stainless stain and more more conductive wafer between them for heat transfer.) I can't verify that is the case here, but I am happy with how thick and solid the bottom of the main pot feels. Both the pot and small solid insert have metal handles that rotate on rivets for grabbing them. Convenient handles as long as you have a pot holder to grab them with. All three nestle in together nicely, but the handle of the main pot doesn't quite follow the arc of the pot. To cleanly put in the small solid insert and lid, I've found that having the large pot's handle slightly above the full resting position is better. A minor issue that shouldn't have an effect on it's purpose, but I am trying to be as thorough as I can be without haven't used the product yet.I am rating this 4/5 for the moment because I have not had a chance to use this product yet. At this point, I can't see not being happy. I do have concerns about this plastic lid, but I have no idea if my concerns are valid or not. Time will tell. Regardless, I will update this review after I have used this product for several months to add more perspective.

Love it
Great thermo pot. I really like this pot. I bought it to take on our road trips but have used it multiple times at home like a crockpot. It keeps the food hot until your ready to eat.I do wish it came with a cookbook. But have adapted some of my recipes to work and there’s always the Internet yo find some recipes.

This cooker does not retain the warmth to cook food like the product's marketing indicates.
I tried cooking the meat for stew twice with each time leaving over night and both times the meat was still hard that I had to re-boil the broth and meat at least 2 more times and leaving it sit for at least 5-8 hours before the meat became tender. I would not recommend this cooker to anyone. The name of of the cooker makes it sounds like a Japanese product but the cooker was made from China. It does not have the quality that of the one that my sister bought (Tiger thermal cooker) that was made in Japan. I tried her cooker and loved it so I decided to buy one not paying attention to the brand name of my sister's thermal cooker and got this product. It was a huge mistake.-Very unhappy customer.

Use it to cook rice, soup in the morning... hours later, they are all ready
save gas/electricity when you are home. It is a bonus if you need to travel. Just cook your food on stove top and load them into the cooker. 4-6 hours later, your lunch/dinner is ready to be eaten at right temperature.
