Erased at the climax! Must read!
This volume has reached the climax of the story and I'm dying to read the conclusion. If anyone has watched the anime and decided to pass on the manga because of it, you are wrong! The anime is a very close adaptation but this volume did go more into detail about the antagonist and about what is happening in the present. The anime felt rushed in the end but the manga is moving at a nice pace.

The thrilling murder mystery continues
Most of this volume takes place in the present time as opposed to the past. Satoru is left gripping with the realization that Kayo was murdered by his mom and he is then sent to the present. It was intense seeing him gather clues on the killer with his friend Airi while the police are hot on his trail. This volume also had a strong theme of believing in people when nobody else will.
