Very "fuzzy" looking color
The color of the paper was very "fuzzy" and not homogenous at all. When I tried printing on them, the text was very pale and hard to read due to the inconsistent color.

I bought these blank blue index cards.
They're blue, they're blank, and they're index cards. As far as I can tell, all 100 are in there, as promised.

Good index cards
Nice, thick index cards. Words don't seep though when I write in ink.

Big sturdy flashcards
Got those cards for prepping for a job interview; got the job so I’m very happy with those cards. They’re big, sturdy and the color is just as pictured.

My preferred brand of index cards
The Oxford brand index cards are sturdier than the generic brands in the big box stores.I used these index cards for a handout during a computer training. I printed some info on Avery labels 8163 - then, affixed the label to the index card and handed one to each trainee. Will buy again.

Good quality
The main think I like is just the availability of all blue. Retail stores don't carry an all blue packet, only a color packet of several colors. Also some 3x5 cards are made cheap & flimsy. These are heavier which withstand frequent use.

Great for classroom use
I purchased these to use in my classroom. Actually purchased 3 different colors. Great to use for name tags, tickets out the door, etc... They are blank on both sides.

Disappointing finish
How can index cards rate only two stars? Simple; the quality was poor and the cost of shipping was outrageous. However, most of the poor rating relates to the quality of the cards. For years I have used Esselte colored index cards for note-taking with a pencil or pen. They have been consistently uniform in color (blue, pink, or orange) and have had a normal "paper finish." I buy them at local office supply stores. But when I needed more, no local outlet had the colored ones I wanted, so I settled for an on-line order. The cards I ordered here were of much lesser quality then those I had been buying over the years. These blue cards are lightly dappled with an off-blue color. I'd guess that a manufacturing problem is to blame. And they have a weird finish that is difficult to explain: they just don't feel like the paper I am used to.The cost of shipping the cards was greater than that of the cards themselves, but I must temper my annoyance because I knew that in advance.Summary: I won't order these cards through the mail again. I want to see them before I buy them and not pay an exorbitant shipping fee.
