For high traffic floors Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear can be mixed in the ratio 10:1 to Treatex Hardener to increase the mechanical resistance of the finished surface. Treatex Hardener can be used in one or both coats of Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear. Adding Treatex Hardener to Treatex Hardwax Oil starts a chemical reaction which can’t be stopped, the mixture will set in the tin even with the lid on! The mixture remains usable for up to three hours, so only mix enough for one coat at a time.

Hard to get the ratios correct (10 to 1 hardener to oil) and it seemed to stay usable for longer than stated on the tin. Can't really say how hard wearing it is - it's only been down for a few weeks.

Still scratched easily
Added this to my treatex oil hoping it would stop scratches but unfortunately it didn’t, this is on a domestic floor
