I absolutely love this set
I absolutely love this set.It felt like Christmas in summer when I started tearing into the box. It's such a great value for the money. Apparently, I missed that it also has a bottle opener and a measuring cup, but they were indeed a welcomed surprise. I was leary at first, because I thought it would be lower quality items due to the price, but nothing could have been further from the truth. Even the spatulas were of excellent quality. I was incredibly surprised. Thank you. This was a great starter set and I would highly recommend this set to others. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

Fine for my students' needs....
I didn't have high hopes for this set after reading some of the reviews. However, I took a chance given the exceptionally low price point. I am starting a jr. high cooking lab for a home school co-op and these sets are perfect to get the kids going on something until we can grow our budget. Boy am I glad that I gave these a chance! I was so pleasantly surprised by this set. The utensils, cutlery and knives were of decent thickness and quality. The cookware was not as heavy as my personal cookware; but, it's not paper thin either. With proper care and cooking knowledge, these will work just fine for a while. I'm not sure what the other negative reviewers were expecting at this low price point; but, I have spent upwards of $70 for just one piece of cookware. For these, I paid $24 dollars for 32 pieces, which equates to .75 cents per item!!!! You couldn't do better than that at the dollar store; and, the quality of these pieces is far better than dollar store. If you're on a tight budget and don't plan on doing a lot of what I call "hard core" cooking, I for sure recommend giving this a try.

Great starter kit you cannot go wrong
I have had this product for a while now and yes it is a great housewarming present. ((TO GET STARTED)) 5 stars in my eyes. However if you u r cooking on max high heat you can Warp them and also they Bend easier other than that no complaints. I have used metal utensils forks spoons knives while cooking in them since the day of arrival and there is no chip out slots no scratches or gouges next.

This is NOT high quality, but...
So these are not quality items. They are flimsy. They are poorly constructed. They will not last very long (which make them not so great for the environment)--- do not kid yourself, these are the lowest quality that would still be functional. But... for $27, we can now cook things in our temporary housing. There is a LOT of stuff here - pans, ladles, spoons, lids, utensils, knives (yes, plural!). These are going to fall apart, they will (most likely) burn food easily, bend, melt and the knives are not particularly sharp. But... it was $27! As long as you aren't emotionally attached to your cookware and you are mentally prepared for mediocre performance, I think this is a fabulous deal - cheaper than 2 movie tickets and now we don't have to eat in restaurants for 3 weeks.

Very basic. You get what you pay for
It was a good deal for the money. VERY basic items. Pot and Pan are not great but will do the job. Utensils and cutlery are flimsy. This is a “you get what you pay for”. I purchased as a transitional set to use before I received my “real” kitchen supplies.

You Get What You Pay For!
I'm a student who lives in temporary student housing. I didn't want to invest too much into necessities, especially since I have limited funds. I bought this because it was a complete set at less than $35. You can't beat that! After using the pan once, upon cleaning it, either the steel paint came off with it, or it was stained and the stains aren't removable. This isn't nonstick, so they're ridiculously hard to clean. I mad eggs in one pot and had to boil water to lift the debris to clean it. Also, another pot I was preparing to fry something, yet for some reasons the pot doesn't sit flat on the stove, so all of the oil was shifted to one side. I didn't notice until I turned around and saw it was beginning to smoke. The pot with no oil was burned and was left with black spots. I scrubbed, soaked in hot water, and even let it sit in a vinegar solution to remove the spots. Unfortunately I've had no luck. Also, I washed the utensils before using them and as I'm drying them off, the silver was coming off along with the water. And don't get me started on the spatula and spoon set. The material it's made of is light and causes it to bend like silly putty. It's very disappointing. Though $35 is cheap, I feel like it's a price that at least deserves good quality. If the cookware is going to easily fade and be nearly impossible to clean, it should only be valued at $!2. Really, this set is a joke.
