XCELFence 5' H DIY Gate Kit

The shipment came damaged with missing parts, customer service sent the missing parts within a day or so. Parts are high quality and relatively easy to install.

A well made kit. Was missing two nuts and washers. Will have to paint replacements to match. Had planned on purchasing panel locally, but the kit requires 1 1/4" rails. Ordered from another source. Very pleased that the kit includes an anti sag cable. Will be purchasing several more kits in the future.Just installed this gate kit and have nothing but praise for it. My installation is a custom application. I installed the gate diagonally between masonry walls which required fabrication of custom mounts and a latch mounting plate. The kit lent well to the required customization. I mentioned in the original post about missing parts. As I used the two longer bolts to apply the cable support brace the missing part situation was remidied.One slight disappointment was the omission of a jamb nut on the turnbuckle. No problem in my case as I had the correct nut available.One element for consideration is that I purchased a aluminum fence panel from a competitor. I made this move in consideration of weight. The overall height of my finished gate is 36 inches.I was able to purchase a panel kit of the correct height. The gate kit lent well to height modification.To sum it up; for a custom application I do not think you can find a better option.Need to make an additional observation in the interest of full disclosure. The hinges are made of a polymer and while seeming sturdy enough they do not serve well in the realm of self closing. The spring seems adequate, but when a gate is applied to the mix the gate will not self close. It could be due to the weight factor as one gate I fabricated is 6 feet and the other 5 feet in length. I am in the process of installing a 3 foot gate and the weight factor should not be relevant in this case. Time will tell.It still is a good choice if you need a custom gate.
