A great update for an old bathroom.
I had been researching these for a while and finally decided to give it a try. The baseboard heat in my bathroom was constantly rusting due to humidity and even rust-proof paint didn't last for long. While these were not a perfect fit for my particular baseboards, it was the best size to get (in terms of height. For the length, I only had to cut a small amount off and although it wasn't a perfect cut, the end cap (purchased separately) hid my slightly crooked cut. It installed very easily and is really easy to clean.

Good-looking but extremely hard to cut
I have purchased several of these baseboard covers to replace old metal ones that been painted over many times and had spots of rust. They look sleek and are easy to clean. However, NeatHeat’s claim that they are easy to cut with ordinary household tools is false. The NeatHeat website specifically mentions a utility knife and cutting shears. I tried both, and they barely made a scratch in the plastic. I ended up buying $40 metal snips, and it was still extremely difficult. It took me about an hour (and a lot of cursing) to cut each one, and the edges were not clean. Fortunately, they’re hidden under the end caps.Update: I bought ANOTHER pair of snips, and these worked much better. I was able to cut a radiator cover in less than 10 minutes. So I can recommend: Crescent Wiss 12-inch tinner snips for roofing and siding. They sell for $18.97 at Home Depot. Since I have more radiator covers to replace, I'm not feeling too bad about the cost of the snips. Just wish I'd landed on these first.

TALL splicers DO NOT fit tall baseboards. A product FAIL.
Happy with what shipped. Read reviews if ordering TALL splicers- they send the standard size which DO NOT fit. I was going to do my whole house but they require TALLs- tjis was a showstopper for going ahead on lengthy covers since the TALL spicers DO NOT fit tall units.
