awesome bike trailer for recreational family use
Great trailer for a great price! I bought this for my husband for the holidays and was so excited to give this to him! We have a 12 month old daughter and we’ve been talking for a while about how we’d love to take her on bike rides with us. I had originally been looking at the baby/toddler seats that attach directly to the bike, but after researching those online, I starting thinking that a trailer would be a better buy for our family. I figured (1) the bike seat would only last us another year or so, and then my daughter would outgrow it (2) if we grow our family the trailer would be a much better option for us since we wouldn’t have to buy anything else – the double trailer will hold both kids! Another big selling point is this trailer will hold up to two kids, up to 50 pounds each kid. That means this trailer will last us for years! As opposed to a seat that would give us about 1 – 2 years max! And even then, we would only get to use it for one kid at a time. This trailer specifically is wonderful!Assembly - Since it was a holiday gift, I wanted to set it all up for my husband so when he saw it he’d be ready to take it out on a ride and not have to fiddle with (what I thought) would be hours of putting this together. I envisioned a lot of swearing, a huge instruction guide, etc. But I was very pleasantly surprised when the entire assembly of the bike took me no more than 30 minutes (and it probably would’ve taken me closer to 10 minutes if I didn’t have my daughter stealing the instructions from me every time I turned around while I was putting it all together). Definitely gets two thumbs up for super simply assembly!Function – the trailer works awesome! My daughter loved it and it seemed like a very smooth ride for her. The seatbelts/straps are easy to adjust to make them higher or lower depending on the height of your child. Since we are only towing one kid in the trailer right now, she sits in the middle (as per the instructions) and she has lots of room on either side of her for her stuffed animals to join in on the fun! It looks like it’ll hold two kids comfortably without them being too squished.Trunk – I didn’t even realize this when I first ordered the trailer, but there is this awesome feature… a little “trunk” behind the seat! I was able to take our diaper bag with us, snacks for a little picnic, and a picnic blanket without all that stuff being in my daughters way (or within her reach, which is great too)!Materials – they seem high quality and I’m not at all worried about them standing the test of time. I did run into a few other parents who have the same brand trailer while we were on a bike trail and they all had great things to say about this brand. Two of the parents I talked to said they had their trailers for over 2 years and with regular use, the trailer is still holding up very well with no complaints. Oh, and the rain shield seems like a brilliant thing to have! We live in Florida, so afternoon rain showers are almost a daily occurance in the summer. I’m sure in a few months when those start, we’ll be glad that the trailer has the shield (side note: you don’t have to take the rain shield off and on, it call roll up if you don’t want to use it, and then rolls down when you do. I like that… anything that comes off and on, I run the risk of taking it off, putting it “somewhere in the garage” and never being able to find it again). In summary, if you are looking for a trailer for recreational family use, I highly recommend this one!

pretty good so far
We've got an 18 month old we pull in this. It's great to have because we're getting more exercise now that we can bring her with us. We also live in a town house so it's great that it can fold down and fit in the closet. There are a couple things I don't like though. The bottom of the trailer is just fabric, and isn't reinforced with anything hard, which seems a little cheap, but I guess it probably allows for the trailer to fold down smaller. I also really don't like the safety restraints. They extend about 10 inches above my daughters head and so the straps are rubbing either side of her face. And there's just one lap belt that stretches across the entire trailer (if there were two kids, they'd share it). Seems like not the safest or most comfortable set up.

the kid is happy
we bought this with the intent on getting the family out more with better weather coming on. this trailer is pretty sweet. pulling a 10 month old down the street is a breeze until there is a breeze. for the most part you don't feel a drag. uphills and winds create a challenge but if your out riding it's good for you. i probably would have bought a single if i was thinking more long term but that isn't anything against the product. it holds a three year old and a 10 month old, it's a little cramped but they think it's fun. get this, you won't be disappointed. also check back for 7 days after purchase. the price on this fell roughly $7 the day after i bought it and amazon, per my request and contacting them, refunded the difference. remember though, they will only do that if you contact them.

Poorly designed seating system
The seating system in this product is horribly designed and unworkable for one much less two children. The seat is a sling style hung between a rigid upper bar and a nylon strap that extends between the two sides of the frame under the child's legs. The nylon strap cannot be tightened sufficiently and there is not enough seating material slung between the upper bar and the lower strap. As a result the child ends up sliding forward and off the seat - very uncomfortable and unpleasant for the passenger. If you attempt a two child configuration, you'll have two children smooshed together and sliding off. The actual frame and wheel system seems well-designed, but the attachment to the pulling cycle is sub par.

Easier than I thought
This bike trailer seems heavy when you are carrying it in a box, but once it's on the back of your bike, it's easier to pull than you may think. It was sligtly difficult to put together (fold open), simply because the components that slide together were a bit sticky. Over time, I imagine, they'll become easier to slide together and apart. The assembly is all pins, so it wasn't too hard to do. I also didn't realize that this comes with the extra wheel and push bar to convert it to a stroller. Added bonus!
