This heavy duty piece is a wonderful conductor for hose movement, and protects the plants it flanks. It has good heft and is a great design. I looks rich and should last for ages. It was an excellent purchase.

I got two of these to put on the edge of my garden. The hose was always in danger of chopping a plant off. They protect the plants and help guide the hose just like I wanted. They seem rugged and are cute! I looked at several garden centers and all they had to offer were chunky plastic ones that looked like massive golf tees. So, these are much better. I would recommend.

I really like these hose guides and they look nice along the edge of ny garden beds. I wish they were a little cheaper as I could use more than the 2 orders I have. My only concern is the cuff like naterial between the finial and the ground. Some of them have bent from being stepped on or riden over accidentally by the lawnmower.

These hose guides are beautiful! They are very sturdy, weighing over one pound each. The spike is long and pointy, making them easy to install. I thought $20 was a bit steep for one hose guide, but I'm in the midst of renovating my landscape and wanted something that looked nice because I water my newly seeded lawn by hand everyday, and water new plants several times a week. I bought four and they look great. They blend into the landscape perfectly and prevent my 100' hose from getting caught on plants or dragging mulch out of the planting beds as I work my way around the yard.PS I don't know why the picture uploaded sideways - sorry!

Not happy that these arrived chipped and broken. Very fragile for outside use. Packaging around the items were very thin. Should not have been sent with such flimsy wrapping. I returned and want a refund.

I use hose guides throughout my yard in various garden beds. I leave them in the ground year round and they aren't any worse for the wear. They still look great and have not suffered any damage. They are attractive, yet subtle. They are solid and work well for the purpose of guiding the garden hose around delicate plants. I have bought several more and removed the plain green plastic guides (they don't last) as well as the ornamental bronze ones (that aren't able to stand their ground when the hose is pulled against them). They are worth the investment. I definitely recommend them!

These hose guides are functional and attractive. They seem sturdy; the weakest part it the spike but, once it's in the ground, the hose guide does a good job. Because they are a bit expensive I'm purchasing them one at a time to place where needed throughout the garden.Recommend.

I bought three of these for the perimeter of the front area we just had landscaped. They work very well for keeping hoses from trying to take a shortcut across the new plantings.
