High quality album. The cover is soft and the album has a sturdy feel. It was easy to insert photos. I used it to create a custom photo album as a gift and the recipient loved it!

Transferring old photos into albums to clear wall space for new photos. This album was perfect. It fits 5x7 photos and has space to write info about the photos which is great for when it gets handed down - no need to guess who’s who generations later. It fits smaller photos and surprisingly square photos I had! I will be ordering more and recommend.

I needed a nice album to hold the growing collection of 5x7 prints of my son we have. My dads girlfriend was a professional photographer & whenever she's in town she takes the *most* amazing photos of my son. While we have going on 4500 photos of our kid at this point (and he's only 18mths old...yeah...we're a bit obsessed), I always get 5x7 prints of the ones she takes since their of super-high quality & always album-worthy. But I get annoyed with the whole vertical-horizontal dilemma I face with most albums, so I was intrigued when I saw this "bi-directional" album. The album is beautiful - high quality, sleek, simple album. The pages are sturdy & I don't feel like I'm going to rip off the sleeve each time I slide a photo in. Each page has a little memo area on the binding side of the page (I never use these, but I imagine since it's on the side with the binding this might make it harder to write on, if you care). The one thing I was a bit disappointed to learn was that description led me to believe it will fit 200 5x7 photo's in a bi-directional format - this is not correct. You can fit 100 vertical or 200 horizontal photos. The wording (at the time I bought this) is as follows: "Patented Bi-Directional pages allow the same pocket to hold horizontal or vertical photos up to 5x7." This should read: ...same pocket to hold *one* vertical or *two* horizontal photos... Each page has a sleeve that will hold two 5x7 horizontal photos (and keep them separated just a bit) or one vertical 5x7 photo. The layout looks great - using the page to fit one vertical doesn't mess with the flow of things (which I thought it might) - so I'm still happy with the product & will probably buy another one when we run out of space with this one. But the description is lacking some basic details & it would be great if they just include the complete information about how many "bi-directional" photos this really holds. ______ I just now spotted another listing on Amazon for this exact same product - but this listing give a better description AND a photo of the page layout. I was looking for a pocket photo album for my 5x7 prints and what I found in the big box stores for these larger prints was the sticky page books. Sticky albums are fine overall, but I wanted something that would not hurt my pictures in the long run. Many of the 5x7 albums out there only hold a small amount of pictures, perfect for wedding pictures but I needed something for pictures I took on a big vacation. This is a nice looking album [for a great price] for my very special memories. Ü

Held over 200 photos from a trip we took to Italy. Gave this to in-laws for Xmas with photos from the trip and they loved it. Very well made. Good quality. Slip in photo pages, so if you are more of a scrapbooker, this is not for you. But excellent for photo archival and does have a section for making notes.

Have you ever noticed how there are hundreds of photo albums advertised on Amazon but only a fraction are actually available. This has been my problem. I was not able to exactly match what I already had but at least these albums are the same size so they look fine on the shelf with the other albums I already have. Note to all photo album manufacturers ... try to have at least a few versions of each size photo album available at all times. Advertise that they will always be available and I am sure you have may happy customers for years to come!

We bought this not knowing if the quality of the albums would be decent and they turned out amazing! You have to be a little gentle when inserting photos but honestly a great album for our hundreds of photos!
