Best ever
Best vaccum I've ever owned and we have used and abused it for multiple years with no issues. Multipet and kid home with tons of messes and it has always worked well and done the job!

It does the job.
I often help my wife check out and work and identify bottlenecks at commercial cleaning accounts before we turn them over to our employees. We have used a lot of different vacuum cleaners under many and varied conditions. Commercial vacuums take a beating, and what seems like a strength can sometimes end up being an Achilles heel. In mixed spaces with carpet, hard floors, stairwells and dusting, this vacuum is a pleasure to use. It's light and versatile. In a single motion, you can pull the quick draw suction tube to vacuum crumbs out of an executive chair and a second later, have it back in place to continue vacuuming the commercial carpet. For other than dedicated wide-area cleaning, we won't even look at a vacuum cleaner without single-motion suction hose availability btw. Carpet and bare floor performance are very good. The brush roll is very effective. The height adjustment comes in handy for the occasional domestic rental unit cleaning where you usually see deeper pile carpets. Suction measures a respectable 60" of water on my gauge. I don't own a digital mass flow sensor, but the airflow is plenty to achieve fast effective cleaning. It works well on deeply textured commercial walk-in mats, always a challenge. It's relatively quiet in operation and bag changes are quick and easy. The two-stage handle adjustment makes it easy to raise the front of the vacuum when desired although it does add a step when you want to lower it flat. Overall, I consider it a plus. The most surprising feature is the thank-you we often hear from our workers when we replace a far more expensive vacuum with this one. At this price, we often dedicate one to a floor or area. My wife and I have fought over who gets to use a far more expensive commercial vacuum with impressive on-paper specs and who gets the cheap little Bissell that weighs 10 pounds less. For applications requiring HEPA filtration, such filters are available as an inexpensive (<$10) retrofit. We use those inexpensive multi-ply bags from Clean Fairy and have noticed that the motor prefilters rarely need cleaning. The design engineers at Bissell hit several sweet spots with this tough, light, versatile general-purpose upright. We don't use them in all our accounts because one size never fits all, but it's always on our short list of choices.

Bisselle vacuum
Well i have been in search of a lightweight commercial grade vacuum with a edger on board. I had a Oreck which i loved for the weight and function, but no attachment so I got this one. It is light because of plastic construction so you need to be a little careful handling it, but it is light, functional and comes with a heavy duty ling cord. The jury is still out on its durability, but so far so good. The negatives: the holders for the cord and accessory hose could be light metal as i fear the plastic will break and if you bump it the items will come loose, same with the down tube seems too close to the vacuum and it will also come loose. My biggest complaint is the knotch cut out in the front for you fingers to lift the vacuum is not deep enough and hard to lift the unit to do stairs.

Disappointed
The price didn't seem to jive with the description of "commercial", but the number of positive reviews combined with my past experience with Bissell made it seem like a good idea (I have owned a Bissell Big Green Machine carpet cleaner for over 5 years and love it). I am very disappointed with Bissell for advertising this vacuum as "commercial". I'm also disappointed that they would make such an inferior product. There is no way anyone could use this as a commercial vacuum - it would never last. Suction is poor at best and the plastic construction is weak. The bag compartment cover warped after using it twice (on surfaces with no visable dirt). My advice is to look elsewhere. I wish I could provide a good option, but I'm still looking. I have owned a Dyson V8 Animal for 2 years - more expensive does not equal better performance. I love that it's cordless, but I've spent more time cleaning it than I have using it. Plus, the plastic began to crack after a year - not covered by the warranty. I had an Electrolux - the on/off switch melted. Electrolux replaced it - the replacement had the same issue. Electrolux replaced it again - with a canister - quiet with great suction, but a huge pain to drag around. The only thing I am keeping is the extension cord that attaches to the vacuum and acts as the power cord.

Higher quality than typical big-box vacuums
This vacuum is a step up in quality to your cheaper big-box store vacuum. Heavy duty power cord. Higher quality extension coil hose with good reach. Heavier duty plastic wand and accessories. The vacuum is quiet and cleans medium pile carpet with ease. I like the foot peddle option to lower the handle further all the way flat to help with getting under tables and similar furniture for cleaning. There is also a clip at the top of the handle to attach the power cord higher so you don't trip on it while vacuuming. Bags, belts, filters (style 7) are all easily obtainable and are not high priced. I scored one of this these through Amazon Warehouse for only $108 with the description saying the box had some damage. When I got it, the box was barely marked up, and the vacuum in perfect condition. Highly recommend clicking on the links on Amazon to check all the other pricing options available. There are deals to be had! Very satisfied with this vacuum. Hope to get many years of use out of it.

Bissell vacuum
I love this vacuum. It makes my work so much easier. With a bag in it all I have to do is change the bag, I'm not exposed to everything I vacuum up. It's light enough to carry if I need to and the color makes it easy to spot wherever I have it. The cord is long enough to reach clear across a room without changing outlets or carrying an extension cord. Excellent choice.

You know what seemed like a great idea at the time? Bagless vacuums. After many years I realized that I absolutely hate dumping the contents of the canister. Enough is enough. I got this, and it's awesome. Depending on how filthy your home is, you can go weeks between needing to change out the dust bag. And refills are inexpensive; regardless, for me it's worth it to no longer have to get dust everywhere while emptying the vacuum. Sometimes what was considered old-fashioned turns out to have been just fine after all. Suction: very good Weight: I've had heavier uprights Loudness: I've had louder vacuums Mobility: very good, and it goes very low, too Cord: super long, like 35' I think. It's a detachable extension which is neat, so I bought a 25' cord. Just be sure to get a 16 gauge or heavier Colour: vomit green Verdict: couldn't be happier

On floors and carpets, it does the trick. Assembly is easy. It actually cleans the carpet better than the bagless Clearview I had before. So glad went back to bags, don't have to inhale dust, nor dirty my hands replacing the bag. I recommend if you are tired of the hapless vacuum hassles and really want a deep carpet vacuum.

Great little vacuum with attachments. Not as heavy duty as I would like but still well worth the money.
