Let's Learn French Coloring Book (Let's Learn Coloring Books) Paperback – Coloring Book, July 14, 2003

Full size (about 8-1/2" x 11") and has maybe 30-40 pages. (No page numbers.) Each page has one or two things for that letter, starting with A at the front, as usual. The paper is a good strong weight making it easy to color on and strong enough for young children. I use it to homeschool my 7 year old daughter and this is an intro to foreign language. It is not a substitute for a proper text book, and is not meant to be. But it is an easy way to break her into French gently and in a fun way by learning a few new words.

This is so much fun to use with my girls. We go over the words on the page and then they get to color it. We keep reviewing as we add new words. Great activity to help reinforce learning a new language. Doesn't take much time but it is sticking!

I loved the coloring book that I received. I teach french to young children, and these pages will work perfectly for my kids. The sellers also sent me a complimentary book that they thought I would be interested in and it was seriously right up my alley-- I might even like it more than the one I purchased! You can tell the seller was thoughtful in picking out the book and in sending it in a way that the product wouldn't be damaged. I was super grateful and super impressed-- thank you so much!

This book only has 1 word per color page. It is good for helping children who are learning French identify the words with correct spelling and articles attached, but its best for a very early learner since the words are not advanced. My children (5 & 7) already knew all of the words in the book - but - it is being enjoyed for review and is helping to reinforce visual recognition of the word. A quality book - just best for beginners or review.

This was the other part of the birthday gift for my grandson who "inadvertently" joined the French Club at his High School. He found it a humorus gift, but admits coloring is a relaxing exercise, when he can find the time. I tucked in a brand new box of colors to facilitate it's use.

Cool idea and as a french speaker was hoping my little one would soak up a few more than one word per page. Not worth the money.

Product arrived in a timely fashion and in good condition. Got this for a little girl in the Congo so that she can learn the alphabet (French is the national language) and also have fun coloring. English-word translations in back as well, as an extra bonus. :) Mailed it with colored pencils and a sharpener because Crayons would have melted.

A stocking stuffer for my grandson who is learning French. As a former French teacher this will help him learn words and phrases which are part of everyday vocabulary. Good and fun way to learn.

Not a bad book for the price. But not what I expected.

This is a very good book, the illustrations are excellent.Would recommend this book to give any child a good head start at learning a language.

フランス語の単語が学べる塗り絵です。各アルファベット毎に２，３個単語が学べます。（X,Y,Zはさすがに１個づつです）全てに冠詞が付いているし、巻末に単語の一覧表（発音の仕方まであります）もあるし、結構丁寧です。が、絵も丁寧で塗り絵にしては細かいのが多いかな？でも、対象年齢が４－８才なので、このぐらい上手に塗れる？単語の字体がいろいろで、統一されてません。筆記体まであります。面白いですね。

I don't think there is much learning going on with this colouring book - buy it to colour in and don't expect any more!
