I found this particular soft support collar to be very comfortable and the bonus is that it is listed at a very reasonable price. If you have a slimmer neck it fits quite well but may be small for someone with a more thickset neck.

A "curate's egg" is something partly bad, partly good. In its original usage, it referred to something that is obviously and entirely bad, but is described out of politeness as nonetheless having good features that redeem it and that pretty much sums up my view of this 'Neck Brace'.I suffered from neck pain and decided to try a 'Neck Brace' to help reduce the pain and also, hopefully, help to eradicate the cause of the pain through remedial action.This one had reasonable review ratings and offered same day delivery and all for a reasonable price.Sellers description notes:SIZE - l size 57.5*11cm or 22.6*4.3inch, max long (include velcro)* max wide.Sadly neither this nor the accompanying pictures are actually much help and as I have a 17.5" collar size I opted for the large and it does fit - another inch or so and you may struggle to get the velcro secured - especially if you have a collar under the Neck Brace. It would be better to show the full dimensions for the 3 sizes - length, depth and width. Especially as they claim - SUITABLE FOR - men, women, youth, elderly, boys, girls.MATERIAL - the sponge is covered with a breathable knitted material.The cover material is pleasant enough next to the skin whilst the sponge is quite stiff [as it needs to be] and thus makes fixing the velcro fastening quite tricky to secure.DESIGNED - ergonomically designed, the soft foam cushions the jaw and neck for a comfortable.Depending on your own physical anatomy it may be 'ergonomically designed' but I'm not sure I would say 'the soft foam cushions the jaw and neck for a comfortable' because as already noted it is quite stiff [as it needs to be].I've bought it and I am wearing it which stops me from moving my head and neck in painful ways so I should finish this review on a positive note.I'd like to be overwhelmingly positive but I'm afraid I cannot because this item could have been so much more - including some documentation with regard to proper usage - length of usage and potential for your individual injury to need to be seen by a healthcare professional etc.Overall it falls into the 3 Star [Average] category for me personally.

Smaller than online spec by 2CM so very tight and not comfortable to wear… not buy it again
