Please do not stick this into your body
I'm not going to tell people that they shouldn't put a camera inside their ear, but I will say that those people should avoid this one. I purchased this because I needed something long and slim with a solid shaft for another (non bodily) purpose. What I got was basically a stainless tube with a camera and some LEDs on the end. The tip is not sealed in any way, both the camera lens and LEDs are completely exposed, which would definitely trap any debris between the components, and the warmth of the LEDs would cause some serious bacterial growth. It's impossible to sanitise so 100% not body safe. The camera itself is poor quality. Straight out of the box with the cap removed, the image was blurry. Cleaning the end didn't help. I couldn't get it to work on an Android phone, but I could get it to work on my laptop using VLC and selecting the camera as a source. On a Linux machine it shows up as /dev/video0, I didn't try on Windows. The connector is this strange dual purpose USB-A with flip out Mini-B combination. Actually a clever design. There's also a Mini-B to USB-C adaptor included. The LEDs get worryingly hot, even at moderate brightness. The camera sensor is so weak that you need maximum brightness to see anything in a dark tube. After a single use I got grease stuck on the end and I couldn't clear it out, so I had to throw it in the bin. Total waste of money, look for something else.

Brilliant little tiny camera on a stick used with a galaxy note 10+
I always wanted a pair of custom fit in ear headphones so forked out on a set of snugs headphones. Snugs arranged for me to visit a local audiologist to have impressions of my ear canals taken. I was all excited and a little nervous. Before they could squirt the stuff into my ears they had to check their condition first. The first ear was nice and clean but the second was partially blocked with wax which meant that they could not take the impression as it might force the wax together into my ear. I asked if they could syringe my ear but because of Damn covid they were not offering this service. So I hit Amazon and bought an ear syringe for £8 and this otoscope. Used the syringe and a hole lot of Crap came out. Used the camera and my ear canal was as clean as a whistle. I've now rebooked my impressions and will soon be the owner of some banging custom fit earphones. The camera was a doodle to set up and worked brilliantly. Just don't forget to take the little plastic cap off the end of you will end up scratching your head wondering why you have a blurry image. I totally recommend this camera and at £15 I cannot believe how good it is.

Good once I figured out how to make it work.
I bought this to check the ears at my rabbit retirement home.Firstly the driver didn't work, so had to uninstall and reinstall. Then the camera app couldn't find it so I downloaded the app in the instructions. The instructions are in a really small font and hard to understand. And the link in the instructions doesn't work. So I had to Google to find the app.Once I had managed to install it, it worked really well. As other reviewers said, it does get hot, so you need to turn the light off and let it cool down.

Nice little tool
The scope focuses at around 10mm and gives a clear picture. I tried it up my nose and in my ear and although I would have prefered a thinner rod because my ear canal is narrow, it was fine. I couldn't obtain a clear picture at first because I failed to notice that there was a small clear protective cap over the lens so everything was a blur. Once I removed the cap the pictures were clear and I am happy with the product. If there was one improvement I would have liked it would be is that the manufacturer included a variable focus in their design.

Its good value but hard to find software on windows OS that works efficiently
Its good value price, but I FOUND difficult to set up with the windows software, Linux once I found the good software it worked great for my teeth inspection, but not very good for checking ears.

Great buy
My children both have issues with their ears. I often have to check inside their ears, but a torch and just my eyes weren’t cutting it.It was easy to use, hooked it up to my MacBook and it was ready to go.I have been able to keep an eye on my daughters grommets. The picture is clear and the adjustable light is great. The light can become hot with prolonged use.Great buy.

Good for price
For the price it works really well just blurs easily as it doesn't auto focus and it does get hot quickly with the light on full but there's a silicone sleeve that helps
