Sensaflex 300 Very High Risk Gel Foam Hybrid Pressure Relief Cushion

This is an excellent very high risk cushion. I’ve got a high risk cushion that came with my Q400 from wheelchair services. However I lost a load of weight and then felt like I was sitting on two bones. So being a full time wheelchair user I bought this very high risk cushion.I’ll say the pain is still there a bit but drastically reduced. It feels very soft to sit on but doesn’t squash down. I like that it’s contoured so you sit in the right place all the time.I’d say this is good for wheelchairs and armchairs or even drivers seats as I used to use these cushions for that too.You can sponge the foam and wash the cover which is good. I haven’t tried it in the summer yet so will probably end up sitting on a towel or something as I know these covers get sweaty.The quality is excellent and the value is good I’m very happy thank you.

I've had two pressure sores since leaving hospital 5 years ago. Very, very painful. This cushion is so much better than the ones I've been using - I'm finally able to sit with comfort.It's a good size, very good value for money.Comfortable and seems as though it will be easy to clean.Good quality.

I'm glad I bought this, but was hoping for the next level up, which I can't seem to find. It makes sitting much more comfortable and has eased some issues with circulation, but I would like the 350 or 400 sensaflex due to my weight. It's worth buying and I'm glad I have it.

It is indented to accommodate lower body shape. Very supportive and pressure relieving after sitting on it for longer periods.It could do with a side handle enabling it to be lifted & relocated as necessary.

Great seat pad, works great on an 86 female as well as a slightly younger 56 year old male stuck in covid life working from home on a hard heavy dining chair which was cutting off circulation in his legs and causing pain and problems walking with inactivity. Within hours his pain was gone and has not returned. It is easy to wash, and nice and firm and has not gone into a thin pulp like many seat pads.

Bought this in August and it was working well and helped but now it is flattening every time I sit on it as if it is busted. I only weight 8 stone so couldn’t be my weight that has done it. If someone could please contact me and see if this can be rectified please.

For my wife who is less able, she says it is truly comfy and takes pressure from her back also.

I alternate this with a donut cushion and it’s very comfortable. I have put a towel round it, though, because the cover gets warm and causes sweating and therefore moisture, which doesn’t help ‘nappy rash’.
