Cutty Sark: The Last of the Tea Clippers (150th anniversary edition)

Although I am very pleased with the book I would like to have more pictures of the restoration, deck houses, deck furniture and gear. I do recommend it to anyone interested in clipper ships in general and Cutty Sark in particular.

Excellent publication of this iconic vessel. For the interested reader this gives an excellent review of the lifetime of the ship. There will be more detailed publications about, but for the broadly interested reader this is a really good presentation of the clipper ship. Definitely recommended

Great pictures, and side stories. CS is a fantastic ship, and we are lucky to have such an icon of the sailing era. This book is also very useful for modellers, as the photos are very detailed.

Bought this book as a gift but had a quick flick through and was quite fascinated by the Cutty Sark story and by the beautiful pictures of that lovely ship. Would highly recommend.

libro arrivato in perfetto orario. Rappresenta un quadro completo della vita a bordo dei clipper, dei grossi problemi economici degli armatori, della competenza dei cantieri nella costruzione delle navi. E' anche rappresentativo del tipo di vita degli anni della seconda meta' del '700.L'unico aspetto che mi ha creato qualche difficolta' e' il carattere di stampa piuttosto esile, soprattutto su alcune utili pagine con sfondo di colore scuro dedicate ad argomenti specifici. Ho dovuto leggere solo con buona illuminazione.
