Pricey but real ingredients
I love Tiki Cat, but it is so expensive. My fat baby lost 7lbs eating Tiki Cat and my picky baby will actually eat most of the flavors. It's high quality food with better ingredients than most other brands and its made with real fish and chicken. The meat is in a shredded or minced texture. They also use broth for moisture instead of gravy, which is better for the cats and way less calories. My cats have never experienced any vomiting or diarrhea from this food.

Cats like it
Cats like it, but it's a little pricey. Looks like good quality food - you can see the bits of fish and it's very juicy which my cats like.

Good value.
These are mostly great. Only reason I give it a 4 star is because of the tilapia flavor. Not only are they not the best fish to consume but the can smells bad and looks worse. My cat still loves it but I just don't like giving it to him which makes this less of a value for me as there are at least 2 cans that I won't be using. With that said, If you don't care about that and your cat is a fish lover (mine isn't) this is going to be a great value for you! Tiki Cat is my favorite brand and I love nearly every other product they offer but the tilapia could use some work... but that is just my opinion. Overall, this is good quality food and is a much needed upgrade over the cheaper wet food and dry foods out there.

Exellent choice! Made a HUGE difference for my cat
My cats LOVE this!! The very first time we tried Tiki Cat brand my cats were not thrilled. They would not eat it and I gave the last few cans away. I bought this package several months later to try again and my cats LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I think it is the pate versions my cats really like. The first ones I bought were only shredded chicken and even in this package they weren't impressed with that as much, though better than the first time around. Their favorites though are the ones with mackerel. I have two cats and my tuxedo kitty was obese...I mean, HUGE! He was always itchy, had bad dandruff, mats and recently GERD. In changing him over to Tiki Cat, that ALL WENT AWAY! I also changed the dry food to a grain free brand as well. My cat is entirely different. He has lost weight, his dandruff is gone, his fur is silky, smooth and he's not as itchy! No more excessive shedding and no more mats! Nice, healthy normal looking CAT! Yay!But then I got a dumb idea. I decided to try One Beyond canned cat food with my last order and I have to say, my cats don't care for it. Not to mention that all the nice gloss my fat-cat had gotten has been slipping away. I only changed brands because of cost but honestly, if we can swing it, I will be back with Tiki Cat. So much better for cats and the proof was in my cat's health, weight loss, tummy settling down and coat looking fantastic! Since we've changed (even though it too is grain free) he has started with the GERD again, a bit of weight gain and coat is less shiny.I've already recommended it to my mom for her cats. It's pricey but it is worth it if you can do it.

12 is a silly number for a package of cat food.
This is actually my cats favorite food and I like the ingredients but leave 3 stars because a 12 pack makes no sense. Make it a 14 pack so people can buy one or two to last for 2 weeks! Instead of a pack that lasts a weird random number of days.

High Quality Shredded Chicken
Our 12 year old, neutered, male cat was diagnosed by a vet specialist with hyperthyroidism. We struggled to find him any type of food (dry or wet), grade, brand name or ingredients to get him to eat. It took a while and I did lots of Internet research about his condition. I learned cats are obligate carnivores (meat eaters). We slowly moved away from the quality dry food he'd been eating for years, to different brands of wet foods (wet foods help cats get more water), and hit on Tiki Cat Chicken Consume' recommended by the pet food store, Pet Valu. We worked with our vet specialist to find meds to slow his metabolism and ease digestive tract irritation. He loves his Tiki, YES, it's pricey, but there are lots of flavor options and types to choose from snd it's fairly easy to find. His condition causes him to eat several meals a day, and he'll also choose to munch his original dry, too. His coat looks shiny, he's bright-eyed, playful and loving again. This minimal-ingredient food is shredded chicken with nutrient-rich consume' (broth) and worth a try when you've worried yourself sick and drained your vet of their knowledge. Buy smaller cans first, be patient with a food change over and monitor the litter box for poo changes. Stay in close touch with your vet throughout, and don't close your mind to other options besides Science Diet. If you love your babies like we do, ANYTHING is worth a try!

disappointment
I like that it comes in a 6-ounce size and is affordable, but I'm concerned that it doesn't even have any smelly fish. My cat didn’t really like this product, and I also found it unappealing that it didn’t smell like fish either. We usually like Tiki Cat, so this was a big disappointment.
