This really is better than I expected. Well made, good quality, easy to use. I live off grid with no electricity so do most of my laundry by hand. The wringer is never going to be as good as a spin dryer, But it really is the next best thing and is certainly superior to wringing with my arthritic hands! I can do my laundry again with no pain. Also, I am not in the country it came from and although they claimed to refund any eccess important tax I did not really expect it. But two days ago I received almost £9 into my bank account that I had overpaid. Excellent product. Excellent service.

The drip plate is quite hard to attach. The paint comes off easily but it I imagine it would work but was bought in error.I returned the item on11/01/22

I bought this product thinking for the price it would be really good. Wrong, it is not as sturdy as I first thought. I have used it for wringing excess water out of my hand washed clothes, to alter the pressure of the rollers, the large screw on top of the item needs to be turned. It was not used excessively or every day or even folding the clothes too much, but the tightening of the screw became more difficult both closing and opening the rollers after approximately 3 weeks. Eventually after another few days of trying to be coxing with it there was a snap. Out of the top flew a small piece of red metal, from where I don't know and the machine is not fit for use anymore. The shank of the turn scew is well and truly stuck and will not move one way or the other. I am so disappointed as it is really needed in my daily life. Well not fit for purpose now, past the time for returning the item. So I'm writing this review with a tinge of sadness and anger. Should have known better. First time using it , it worked great but second time we got it out to use it a part broke off the clamp as you can see in the pictures it holds the disc on, so now I'm wondering what will brake next on it . This wasn't cheap to buy for something no matter how small to brake on it . Not very impressed so far.

The bracket is too short to.fix to shelf as handle will not turn unless at the end of a shelf and then the handle is too extended to be practical.. Team another review who tried it on a bucket as seller suggests and she couldn't turn the handle and maintain the bucket up right. It's the biggest waste of money the most worst design if ever tried to get my head round ..and failed. Also no zippers or buttons can be put through. Left too late to return to states .

Wie gewohnt, super - schnelle Lieferung, diesmal über Amazon.com. Nach langem suchen und überlegen von Alternativen (Wischmopschleuder, 2 Eimer ineinander, etc.) doch noch eine Lösung wie früher gefunden. Leider findet man solche Handwringer in Deutschland nur noch auf Flohmärkten o. dergl. , wenn überhaupt, und es stellt sich mir die Frage warum eigentlich ? Ich bin sehr froh über diesen, der Zusammenbau ist einfach und schnell erledigt, zudem mit versch. Möglichkeiten ihn zu befestigen und mit Wasserablaufbrett (weniger Verlust von Waschwasser, je nachdem wie man wäscht). Und er macht seinen Job, so wie er soll, ja es macht richtig Spass, besonders da die Kurbel sehr leichtgängig ist. Meine Wäsche besteht aus T-Shirts, Pullis, Jeans, Socken, Handtücher, etc.. Bei Jeans oder Sachen mit Reissverschluss habe ich es weiter eingestellt, da bleibt mehr Wasser, aber dass ist meiner Vorsicht geschuldet. Der Rest wird sehr gut trocken. Natürlich nicht wie in einer elektrischen Wäscheschleuder, aber das ist ja auch kein passender Vergleich. Er macht die Kleidung so trocken, dass man sie dann gut draussen oder innen aufhängen kann und sie nicht ewig braucht um zu trocknen. Ich finde es super ein "altbekanntes" geniales Teil so neu kaufen zu können (was heute auch noch viele Homsteader in den USA verwenden). Ohne Strom, ohne Schmerzen in den Gelenken, ja ich bin ganz glücklich - ein weiteres Stück Unabhängigkeit. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber es macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck.

Está muy bien construido, requiere muy poco armado por parte de uno. Funciona muy bien y se puede colocar de diversas formas como lo promueven. Muy recomendable.

We live off the grid. In the winter, it can be a real problem to dry clothing inside our cabin. The Calliger Clothes Wringer is not only extremely sturdy, but also can handle our extra thick, king size blanket. The whole load of laundry dried in record time, so we are very pleased with our purchase. Two thumbs up!

Easy to install and use. I grew up helping my Mom do the laundry with a "wringer washer". Now my handwashing and our bathing suits and towels dry so much faster after being wrung out. Love it! Great conversation/art piece on patio.
