Assembly is certainly not meant for children. Very poor design and too technical for children to understand. It uses Fevikwik which needs to be handled with a lot of caution and certainly not recommended for use by children. Absolute waste of money.

Great fun to make and fly. The kit is very thorough. They even give a sanding stick with a piece of sandpaper stuck on. I wish they'd also supply a small tube of adhesive with some "body"; the super-glue they supply is not that easy to use for critical wing to fuselage joints, because it sets in seconds. I bought some other adhesive for the wing joints.

The instructions to prepare the model are most "user unfriendly". I could not make head or tail of it. There is no video demo to be referred to. Useless.
