well I don't think it was sticky this is my go to ruler for measuring things under the 24 inches length it has I use it for a lot of my paper sculpture projects when 4 decimal digit accuracy is not needed!! it is great and handy the hole it has on one end is a great addition , it allows me to hang it up with my other tools so it is always ready to be used!!

Great ruler

Excellent, easy-to-use ruler. I’ve been using it to measure HTV and paper for different craft projects, and it does the job well. It feels sturdy overall, though it is a bit on the flimsy side, definitely not something you’d want to bend or wave around. For simple measuring and cutting tasks, though, it’s totally worth it and works just as expected.

I purchased these for student use in my classical art atelier. Here we put rulers through a lot of abuse which has little to do with measuring and more to do with getting a straight edge. So they get bent, painted against and toted back and forth from my personal atelier to studio space where I teach. A good solid, dependable, and well made product that will give me decades of use. You can't say this about a lot of things anymore.
