A very sturdy and protective case for my IPhone 7.

Perfect.

When I first receive this case, I was so excited about my purchase. The case was really nice and sleek, just perfect for my phone enveloping it extremely well. It looked professional, clean, and durable. About 6 months in, I notices the rubber the sides of the case are made of (the rest is sturdy plastic) started expanding on its own, and as it can be seen in the pictures, there's now an extra pocket that was formed around the volume buttons, which makes the case stick away from the phone. This makes the case look ugly and unprofessional, and it creates an unnecessary hazard as the phone is now more vulnerable in the area surrounding the volume buttons. Also, most of the side rubber around the phone started yellowing after a few months of daily (and heavy) handling of the phone (always with the case on), and as shown in the pictures, it is now a filthy brownish colour. What I find extremely upsetting is that, in addition to the case obviously not being as durable as Otterbox claimed, and most likely a manufacturing defect in this case, the lifetime warranty doesn't seem to cover replacement of such cases at no cost to the customer - they are making me pay a fee, and for shipping & handling. I would have understood if this had happened on my own fault and mishandling, but this wasn't the case. Overall, very disappointing purchase.

I bought this case in October 2018 and I am purchasing a replacement now in September 2019. The case lasted well however after six months or so it started to warp around the edges and became discoloured. Since using the case I didn’t get any cracks on my phone so I do think that it’s helped. However a big chunk of the case has come away at the top left hand side (probably where it was dropped). I am going to repurchase another case until I find a more trusted brand.

Great product,little delay on arriving

I’ve had other otter boxes and this one is just as protective! However, I find there are stress fractures on the edges from getting the phone in the case which is likely unavoidable because it’s clear. If it were a solid colour, they’d probably still be there, just not visible. The light sparkle is a nice touch. It’s not a tacky amount of sparkle, nor is it not noticeable. My baby loves to chew on my phone and this seems to hold up to teething fairly well. Scratches are more visible than a solid colour one but that’s just a combo of the material and the colour and its not all that noticeable. So far minimal discolouration.

It’s exactly as described and, in my opinion, attractive. Unlike my old otterbox, it actually is hard material (on the back, wrapped halfway around the sides) attached to a strong, flexible material (on the front, wrapped halfway around the sides and meeting up with the hard material). It is one solid case. My old one had a rubbery interior case covering the whole phone, and a separate hard plastic case that went over the top. It was clunky and the hard outer case cracked whenever it was put to the test (I admit I’m cruel to phones). I much prefer this design.

I got this for my mother's phone. It is a solid case, however, it is very hard to push the buttons in. my mum who is a healthy wrong lady, has trouble pushing in the side buttons to get them to work.You can also see a build up of dust easily between the phone and case on the inside.Good quality for someone able to apply a good amount of pressure to use the side buttons.

As some other reviewers have mentioned, the rubber bumper definitely does turn yellow after a month or two. The clear hard plastic part of the case is fine, though. I've owned a number of clear phone cases like this from a few different brands, and all of the rubber bumpers have turned yellow--I think it's pretty tough to avoid. The yellowing isn't a dealbreaker for me, though. I like the case overall, and it does seem to be pretty durable. I've dropped my phone a couple of times and haven't had parts of the case crack or chip, which happened with other brands/cases in the past. Covers for the side buttons are a bit loose for an iPhone 8, and I sometimes find it a bit difficult to get the lock button pressed. Again, I think that just goes along with these cases that fit the iPhone 7 and 8. Overall, after a couple months of use, I like this. Hope it holds up well over time!

We bought this case for our daughter after replacing a broken screen. The rule now, is that she must have the case on her phone at all times. However, she still managed to break the screen again. This case is well made, fits well, looks good and doesn't add excessive bulk to your phone. Just don't expect it to protect like the legenday cases that the Otterbox name was built on.

Well, I guess I’ve learned what “retail packaging” means. Even though the case was in it’s original packaging, it looked like someone used it for 3 months, got tired of it, and decided to get a partial refund on my tab. I get that the price was better, but this no different that’s buying on consignment with no opportunity to see the condition of what you are buying. The big problem is that this was purchased directly through Amazon, not through a third party. Really disappointed in Amazon. Unfortunately, simply not worth my time, expense, and effort to return

Bought it for my iPhone 7. Love the clear case so I can see the actual phone. Dropped my phone a few times and it did the job. No damage to my phone.

I put this on my IPhone 8. I had a softer rubber type previously on my other Iphone 6. That one was really hard to get on the phone. This one was easy. It has a harder texture but I like it much better so far. I don't know how durable it is as I have only had it since early January 2020. I have dropped it once on ceramic and nothing was damaged. So far so good.

So far so good. It’s the second day I’ve had it, so i can’t comment on the long term durability or whether it tints yellow over time. Overall, I’m very happy with it. It fits well, snug, and looks great. The only con was that the package came in torn as if someone had ripped it open.

I have had this case on for almost a month. So far I really love it. It looks great and does protect from drops. However, two things I would like to point out. It does get greasy and slippery, so I usually buff it on a towel or use alcohol wipes to sanitize it (which I would do with any case) I also noticed the back is quite scratched up already. Overall for the price I would definitely recommend.

The product is good quality but the clear plastic in the back of the case had a lot of imperfections (bubbles) and is very easily scratched, the side bumpers are sturdy and made of more flexible plastic but it contained sa lot of stains (it was cloudy in some spots). For a clear case it was a bit disappointing. Other than that it feels very sturdy and protects well the iPhone.

The case is beautiful, I had it only for two days though until I returned the case. It was a great quality case or so I thought as it was made by otter box. Unfortunately within two days i noticed there was a yellow tinge on the case under the volume buttons. I tried to clean it with soap and water to no avail. I then just decided to return it.
