It arrived sick
This arrived today, and is clearly not healthy. It has yellowing leaves, several areas dead, and heavy leaf damage from pests. I’m treating it with Neem oil and quarantining it so it doesn’t kill my entire garden and see if I can triage it…

High quality plant, great growth, & protected in transit
Arrived well protected, plant was alive & healthy 12” tall bush. Planted a month ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Has doubled its base size in growth & has a shot out the top that’s 36-42” tall. Very pleased with this plant so far.

Healthy but much smaller than expected
I was surprised that is was just a twig with a few leaves. I found one at my local nursery for the same price that was already flowering. I'd send it back but wouldn't want to take the chance of it dying in transit.

Taking off!
I like that this is a native, not invasive type of wisteria. She came beautifully and safely package. I used an auger bit to drill her home and planted her same day. She already had a bloom forming and the mother vine has taken off up the lattice she’s planted in front of. I cannot wait to see how much she grows before the end of season. Thanks!

Great packaging - Ordered Dormant plants in January, started growing in February
I'm probably going to start ordering all of my plants online. I used to work in a garden center, and all plants get shipped at some point. Having them shipped right to you actually makes more sense than having them shipped to a store where they sill sit for weeks. Store plants always get disease the way water is sprayed all over the folliage while they are packed tightly together. My plants came healthy and very well packaged. It was below freezing the day they arrived, and they are still fine. The soil was still moist and not frozen. They came dormant because it's January, which I expected. If your plants come as twigs with no leaves, it's probably just dormant. Whisteria is supposed to be pretty hard to kill and survive temperatures or -20F. The fact that it is invasive should tell you how hard it is to kill.I live in the warmest temperate zone in the US, so it will take longer if you live somewhere colder, but I was able to plant the Whisteria in pots right away and they started putting off new growth a month later. I'm growing mine in pots on an apartment balcony. I made arbors for them using chicken wire. This is something I did at another apartment and works well.If you are worries about planting it in the ground due to it being invasive, large pots work fine tooMine are in 10 gallon pots.Overall great purchase. I'm very happy.
