Best contouring pallet I have ever used. Great formula, nice buildable pigment.

Based on the reviews, I was a little apprehensive about buying this online in fears that my palette would arrived cracked. However my seller did a tremendous job at wrapping it and it made it here perfectly safe!! The biggest buying factors for this product instead of its rival Anastasia (another amazing brand) is that it has much more product for the same price and it can be used on multiple skin tones... I am very pale in the winter but get very tan in the summer, so this kit was the perfect investment for me. The palette itself is beautiful and the pigment is amazing. Definitely worth the investment no matter your contouring experience level.

My product arrived completely broken and unusable, the seller didn’t even bother to send rn another one or anything. Was one of the worst sellers on Amazon. But if you do get a good one, I went to Sephora and got another good one, it’s definitely one of the best contour palettes out there, especially if you are of a tan skin tone. But yes the seller was pretty unhelpful.

Came a week earlier than expected! Shipping was super fast! However last contour shade was slightly broken! Not too much. As for the formula.. It is extremely pigmented, goes on smoothly &blends effortlessly. Gives off a natural look that is not cakey at all! Can be used by beginners and people with more experience as well! I own the Anastasia cream contour kit as well, and both are amazing, however the shade + light palette is more forgiving (for begginers) while the Anastasia cream kit is more for people with experience. Overall a great palette! as for the cracked contour shade that has more to do with ups/fed ex.

This contour palette is so great- I have very pale/ blotchy skin so i only really use the three lightest shades at the top for highlighting eyelids, under eyes, and bridge of nose. For contouring my nose, neck, and cheekbones, I really only use the lightest brown on the far left of the palette. The middle brown shade is good to mix with your blush for a warmer tone. The darkest shade on the far right is only really good for a dark eyeshadow shade or even lightly applied on the arch of my brows. I would recommend this for skin tones that are a little bit darker than just pale/fair. Very good quality; I contour at like 6 am and it stays on all day long if I'm not sweating or rubbing my face too much. Love this kit-- Kat Von D is a great brand.

I'm new to contouring and I got the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Palette for Christmas, but I wanted a powder contour palette as well so I read many reviews on both the Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette and Anastasia Beverly Hills Palette and I decided to go with this one. This palette is THE BEST! So pigmented and blends so well. I'm fair skinned so I use the darkest shade for eyeshadow! It works wonderfully. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone!

As someone who is constantly buying higher end makeup I love this product. It is super great for setting under eye concealer, the light yellow shade on top really helps counteract dark circles, and the darker contour shades on the bottom work great. There is a cool tone, neutral tone, and warm tone for each of the darker and lighter shades. My only drawback is that I love this product so much I've torn through it in under two months!!
